Loft Le Murate is a modern one-roomed apartment and lovely open space, made unique as it once was a coach house for ancient horse carriages (very romantic!). Located on the ground floor and organized on two levels, the loft
combines a chic&contemporary design with unique antique elements, like the original vaulted brick ceiling and the exposed stones.
The apartment has its own independent entrance which opens onto the historic Via Ghibellina, where once Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo had their homes.
You walk into a spacious living area with large and comfortable double sofa bed and smart TV, fully-equipped kitchen, and large bathroom with hydromassage shower; all on the ground floor. Upstairs is the loft area with parquet floor where you find a big double bed, big wardrobe, and stylish study area with windows looking out over the street. The sofa bed on the ground floor converts into a double bed (140x200 cm).
The Loft has all comforts: private entrance, fully equipped kitchen with toaster and coffee machine, bath towels, courtesy kit with hypoallergenic soaps, bathroom with hydromassage shower, free wifi, air conditioning, flatscreen smart TV with Netflix, and washing machine.

The loft has a central location in the lively and beautiful Santa Croce district, filled with restaurants, wine bars, beautiful shops. The Sant Ambrogio market, where to find all kinds of food and typical products is only few steps away.
The famous Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and all other Florentine monuments are about 10 minutes walking distance.
Via Ghibellina is an ancient street in Florence, both Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo lived here!
The area is characterized by plenty of beautiful shops.
In front of the loft you find the Murate Complex, once a prison, now wisely restored into a place for cultural events, with a cafe open all days till 1pm, a book store, a tour agency, and a restaurant pizzeria. Walking left the loft, and running on Via Ghibellina, you find yourself in front of Badia Fiorentina and the wonderful Bargello Museum.
The location is also great for a romantic and scenic stroll along the Arno River, that you can reach in 5 minutes walking through Via delle Casine, the narrow street soon on the left of the Loft.
To enjoy the best panorama over Florence, head to Piazzale Michelangelo, that you can reach in 10 minutes by bus or in 20-25 minutes walk. One of the most romantic places in Florence!
Getting around
The apartment is also conveniently positioned for people travelling by car. Beccaria parking or Sant Ambrogio parking are 2 minutes from the apartment.
The Location of Loft Le Murate is ideal to go exploring the city and its masterpieces; Palazzo Vecchio, the Gallery of Uffizi, Piazza della Signoria, the famous designer shops, and all the main monuments and churches are within a short distance on foot.
A car is not necessary, both the Santa Maria Novella Train Station and the Campo di Marte Train station are 10 minutes away.
