At the Heart of Florence with Private Garden and Parking

This charming and unique apartment sets on the ground floor of a historic building right at Florence's Historic Center. It is strategically situated just 5 minutes walk from Piazza Santa Croce, and 15 minutes walk from Piazza Signoria and The Ufizzi.

This accommodation has been restored (last renovation on november 2016) and converted into an adorable apartment, very well furnished and with modern facilities. The highlight is its private, sunny garden with dining table for 'al fresco' meals. Private parking is also available.

There is a cosy living room , dining room at a veranda facing the garden, well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook a delicious Tuscan meal, a master double room with fresco ceiling with in suite bathroom, a double bedroom with 2 single beds, a studio with 2 single beds plus one bathroom with shower. All bathrooms are made with Carrara marble.

The market of Santo Ambrogio , the most characteristic food market in Florence is only at 5 minutes walk. It is a nice way to wake up in the morning, have a lazy breakfast with a true cappuccino or espresso and take a tour around fresh and exquisite season vegetables and fruits or local cheese just smelling the flower's newest aromas.

All around, there are many restaurants and bars where local Fiorentini go for a quick coffee, lunch and dinner meals, with a vast selection of places running from wine bars, wooden oven pizzerias, local trattorie and famous restaurants.

From there, you can also rent bikes to visit Florence everywhere you want to go!

The famous FLEA MARKET of Florence is located in Piazza dei Ciompi at only 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It opens every day from 9 to 19.30. If you're lucky enough to go there on the last Sunday of every month, the stalls extend into the surrounding streets. Here you can find furniture and objects from the past, prints, coins and jewellery. It's worth a trip if only to get insights on Italy's past through the artifacts displayed in these cluttered stalls.

A beautifully appointed and clean accommodation located in a quieter part of Florence. Very convenient to restaurants and sites of interest. Communication with Christina was efficient and appreciated as was the orientation. Outdoor patio was an added bonus.

Lovely home on the edge of historic center alows quick walking access and escape from tourist congestion.Wonderful local restaurant and bar right across the street. Fun local market a few blocks over with most every kind of vender. Highly recommend!

We were very comfortable in Christina’s place. She was warm and welcoming when we arrived and took the time to show us how everything worked. My family enjoyed the patio area and had a place to park a car if needed. We did not have a car but were able to walk everywhere we wanted to see; perfect place for location. Another bonus was no stairs!! I would recommend!

Great stay in Santa Croce neighborhood

We loved our location, within walking distance of the top tourist attractions in Firenze, plenty of space for four friends traveling together. Christina was very helpful in orienting us to the space and giving us recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this property. Christina was super helpful at check in and the apartment was an easy walk from everything we wanted to do in Florence. It was great to be able to do laundry as we traveled and Christina’s recommendations helped us get to know the neighborhood.

This place is a small walk to most sites. Uber is available to longer trips but overall walkable. There is a little restaurant bar with nightly happenings where we sat and make friends with the staff at night . Beautiful apartment clean and spacious

Wonderful visit to Florence!

We had a great stay! Christina is a terrific hostess who met us at the property and was responsive throughout our visit, including a recommendation for a wine tour in Tuscany. An easy walk to nearby groceries and an open air market plus a well equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. and the apartment is a 10-15 minute walk to many Florence attractions. Highly recommended!

Fantastic property

Christina met us upon arrival and explained everything completely. The property was as described and wonderful for a family of 5 guests. Location was great and easy to find and we walked everywhere, except to the Airport. She left a booklet with lots of helpful info on things to do and where to eat, etc.I have stayed in Florence a dozen times always in Hotels and this was a real treat. The property is as described. Great location, large, well equipped, and very clean. Excellent restaurants in close proximity. The communications with the host are excellent. There is parking for your car if you have one. Units equipped with A/C and washer on site so perfect for a family.

Beautiful property in a perfect location

Christina's house is beautiful and well furnished. We stayed there a week with 4 adults and 2 young kids.The backyard/parking was perfect to have a late diner after putting the kids to sleep. The location is great, it's a walking distance of most of the attraction. Only downside with the house is the wifi, it was unusable for most of our stay.

Home in Florence

We had a lovely stay at Christina's lovely apartment. It had everything we needed and was a lovely respite after playing tourist all day. Christina met me when I arrived and showed me around the apartment. It is located close to the Santa Croce basilica and an easy walk into the historic area and a more local area which we enjoyed. I would be delighted to stay here again.

Beautiful Apartment!

We had three generations staying in Christina’s beautiful apartment. Unlike so many places, the reality exceeded the pictures. What a great place! Christina was a warm and welcoming host who met us and took the time to explain all of the features of the apartment. The location is an easy walk to the duomo, Ponte Vecchio and everything else we wanted to see. We’ll be back!

And what a kitchen!!!

We loved the very personal apartment near Sant Ambrogio with its restaurants, cafes and various stores. Especially for those, who love cooking..., you'll be surprised to find a very well equipped and suitable kitchen. In a classic sense. And as there's the famous dayly market with a vast variety of best and fresh italian products - only 3 minutes from the apartment - cooking pleasure for you and your family or friens is guaranteed. We loved it: early in the morning to the market, then exploring Florence all day, then dinner- delight "at home" in the evening. Lookin' foreword to another stay in Florence.

Great Location, Receptive owner, Good for families!

The location is within a 15 to 20 minute walk of most attractions. It had a good size master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Although the bathroom was dated and required some getting used to. The kitchen was small but functional. It had a stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The other bedrooms were also adequate and the second bathroom had a walk-in shower which was great for older tourists. The dining room was glass enclosed and lead to a garden picnic table area. The washer was in the cellar and we did not use it. Christina met us at the apartment and went over all the eccentricities of the place. The use of certain keys for the doors and ways to lock up and open the doors and lights. The air conditioner in the master was not working very well but the rest of the air conditioners worked fine. We used taxis for in and out access without a problem. It’s close to restaurants and farmers market and grocery stores.

A Wonderful Home to Stay

Christina was very friendly and helpful to give us a tour of the apartment when we arrived. (She made sure we knew how to get into the doors, etc). We had Christina's contact info, but we didn't need any more assistance. My friends and I were very comfortable during our stay. It was nice for all of us to sit at the table outside in the early evening. It felt like a friend's home instead of a sterile rental property. It was easy to take a bus from the train station. It was a convenient location to the places we wanted to go. The pizza was great at Le Carceri on the next street over.

Fabulous stay

Christina was a terrific, friendly, and very responsive host. She met us at the apartment and graciously explained how everything worked and shared wonderful recommendations about eating, places to visit, day trips, etc. The apartment is centrally located in the beautiful historic district and within walking distance to unlimited restaurants, attractions, supermarkets, shops, etc. Parking our car within the premises and the ability to do day trips was a big plus. The kitchen was very useful, the a/c worked perfectly, the bedrooms were quite spacious and nicely decorated. We felt right at home, and we thank Christina for being an exceptional hostess - all of her recommendations were a big hit and they contributed to our enjoyment of Florence. WE'LL BBACK!

Great location but noisy

Lovely home in a safe and convenient location. Close to great restaurants, attractions, and bus stop. It is less than 30min walk to the train station, which is important as it is difficult to reserve or stop a taxi. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Took off one star for the following reasons: 1) There was some smell like wet carpet in the home, although there was no carpet in the home. 2) The road noise and the noise from the building door opening and closing was really loud. If you are light sleeper this can be an issue and cannot be avoided as the apartment is on the ground floor.
