"The hotel was nice but it is not 5 star , or even close. The hotel was understaffed, and the staff communicated it when requesting services. I don’t expect that when spending $700 to $800 a night. There was no concierge, no one to order taxis, no place to get early coffee, no room service to the Villas, transport to the villas only when they could find someone. It is close to being nice but doesn’t have the level of service that I would expect of a 4 star, let alone a place that says it is 5 star. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Chateau Rouge – Provincial Home Red Hill with our extended family plus little kids and 2 dogs. The house throughout is beautifully styled and well laid out. The living kitchen dining areas were really spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The fire place added to the cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms and bathrooms were neat and very clean. The dogs and kids were well contained in the back yard and the trampoline was a hit with the kids. The location is very convenient to local wineries and there is a little acfe within walking distance.We would love to stay there again."

"We had a wonderful time over Easter with the whole family. The only issue was one day loss of mains water which was completely outside the control of the property manager. Both she and the plumber were responsive and helpful but the mains water provider was pretty slow. It's a great property for a big multi- generational family!"
