If you're poorly prepared, airports and flying can be testing. But there's no need to hit the panic button just yet. Follow these tips and tricks and enjoy a pleasant start to your holiday in Dangu. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a pleasure if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare pair of socks and a few magazines. Secondly, make room in your bag for your electronic devices, chargers, your important medications and perhaps a blow-up neck pillow as well. Lastly, remember to bring your passport, travel docs and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp or pointed objects lurking in one of the compartments of your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include flammable or explosive products, such as bleach and fuel, and liquids and gels in containers larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Layer up with comfortable clothing and pick shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to take on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Wander around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
