The rooms I have stayed in have been very clean. The shower is great, easy to use and to get to the right temperature. A bit stingy with the tea bags and 2 biscuits though. The reception staff were quite friendly but I didn't expect to have to pay £5 to park the car on site. One of the rooms I stayed in was a little tired looking and the windows refused to close properly. The hairdryer is pretty good and beds are comfortable. It was lovely and quiet. Nice towels and toiletries. Nice atmosphere and historical feel to the lobby and staircase. I love it.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was a disappointing stay. The restaurant wasn't available so we only had bar food choices which was very limited as the fish fryer wasn't working. The food wasn't hot enough and we had asked for ketchup which never arrived. The tv in the room was unwatchable so ended up watching the England game on my phone which wasn't ideal. We booked single rooms however one of the rooms was located close to either air conditioning or heating equipment which was a little noisy during the night which disturbed sleep.

Truly enjoy every minute of staying at the Lismoyne!!! From the wonderful people at the Reception to the morning, smiling faces in the hall with an excellent breakfast every day. Kudos to the Chef for always making a perfect BAP!! See you next year!!

I was worried about taking a single room but actually it was a decent size with everything I needed such as iron and hair dryer. The (very small) bathroom had great water pressure and hot water throughout my stay. Front desk were super friendly and helped organise taxis etc for me. The hotel has ample parking and is in a quiet location. I’d never considered staying there before but I’m very likely to choose it again. I think they could make a few investments here and there which could really improve it and make it a great stopover for all.

Great Stay

We all enjoyed our stay and the staff were great. Only suggestion is that you could really do with a commercial toaster for breakfast - a domestic one takes forever!
