Great location, nice apartment inside historic home
My partner and I loved staying at this property. The mini-apartment is located within a historic home just a few minutes walk from downtown. Easy parking and access by car and great central starting point for any activity in Flag. The apartment was as listed, I would stay here again!
The location of this place is worth every penny! I parked my car and walked around the entire weekend. Neighborhood is dark and quiet. The apartment was so cozy and I would stay again. The sound from the other apartments wasn’t too loud either.
I was visiting my son in college, and we had a great time together sharing this apartment for Veteran’s Day weekend. I loved not having keys and using door codes. It made check-in super easy the evening of our arrival. The apartment was cute, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. It was quiet and the thermostat was just right (keeping us warm). Great location too. Highly recommended!
We stayed in Flagstaff for 5 nights and it was a wonderful stay!! Check-in was easy and the location was amazing…about 3 blocks from historic downtown! It was also centrally located to Grand Canyon, Page and Winslow! We saw so many sites around Flagstaff!! Communication with property manager was fantastic too! We noticed only one towel in the bathroom at check-in but was able to text them about it. A crew member was there in 5 minutes with towels! The house was perfect and our ‘apartment’ was the perfect size for 2! Kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfortable! Highly recommend!!
The Sister Suite is located in a beautiful early 1900s home and is pictured and described accurately on the website. Parking is on-site and it is a great place to leave your car while you walk the few blocks to downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty to walk through. As for the apartment, it was very comfortable and updated without losing any charm. Radiator heat provides warm heat, and if you want a little breeze, you can prop open the windows. The bed was comfortable and the provided towels were nice. The host provides shampoo and body wash in the walk-in shower. We had to reach the host once with a question, and he responded within minutes. Seriously, there was nothing not to like. We would definitely return. We used the apartment as our base to visit the national monuments and Lowell Observatory and it was perfect.
The place was comfortable and appropriate for what I needed during my stay in Flagstaff. The neighborhood was quiet and conducive for sleep. The bed was a little lopsided, which I left the owner some positive feedback about it. For one person it didn’t bother me but for two it might be an issue. I only say this because a good nights sleep is very important to me. The small apartment was definitely better than a hotel as I had a kitchen that had everything I needed to cook small meals. Small Refrigerator did not have a freezer, but that was not an issue for me. I would not recommend the upstairs with children for the courtesy of downstairs guests. I did not find noise to be an issue from other guests. The house is very old so it does creek. The location was very close to downtown, within walking distance, but at night it’s very dark due to the Flagstaff ordinance of low lighting. Overall, it was a positive experience.
I left feedback for the owner that it would be nice to list some of the items in the room that may not be shown in online photos. I would recommend communicating with the owner if there is something specific that you need as that is always best.
Great location easy walk to downtown shops & restaurants. Very nicely done kitchenette is well appointed. Bathroom is beautiful but less functional with tiny towels and no place to put shampoo in the shower. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for a little less than a week in June-July and it was ideal. Quiet but close enough to walk to downtown Flag and all the shops, restaurants, markets, parks. Dedicated parking was ideal, and the AC unit in the living room was helpful on those hot afternoons. Would absolutely stay here again in the future.
The only thing that we missed was a freezer/ice-making facilities (there's just a mini-fridge). But other than that, it hit all the marks. The AC worked well, it was clean and we were comfortable. There was a booking problem, and the staff were very helpful and kind.
Codes for doors couldHaveBeen the same code# . Need air conditioner in bedroom because the living area was too cold once we got the air to bedroom cooler. Nice accommodations and well appointed. The stairs weren’t our favorite especially with luggage.:)
