With plenty of firewood provided to heat the home, we had a really comfortable weekend here. Really a great place for the price!

Fantastic property that is secluded and surrounded by nature. Only sounds were the breezes and birds in the trees. Great place to return to after a full day of hiking in Yosemite. Rooms are spacious and house is well supplied. Check in and out process is very easy. Host is communicative and responsive. Looking forward to a return visit!
We came to visit Yosemite National Park and the location could not have been better! The cabin felt like we were inside the park with the beautiful surroundings. Kristin was a responsive and informative host and her tips really helped us to be better prepared since we were visiting from out of state. They provided bonus amenities which were a nice touch in case we forgot something. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay near the park in a charming and comfortable retreat.

The home was great. We enjoyed staying there
We would have preferred a normal heater instead of the wooden fire place. We were not able to start it because there was no newspaper or other items to start the fire.

Well maintained cabin with plenty of space for out party of 5. A little far (1hr drive) from Yosemite Village but manageable. We felt very comfortable during our 4 night stay.
Only quibble would be the dated stovetop and oven. As there was no exhaust fan, broiling pork chops in the oven resulted in quite a bit of smoke (much of it from pre-existing grease and burnt bits already caked to the top oven)
This property is casual with comfy, open living spaces, lots of windows, and outdoor decks shaded by sugar pine trees. If your'e a fan of pine cones, there are plenty to pick from! Seating options were ample for our family of 4, and the bedrooms were roomy with comfy bedding.
The beachcomber cabin is close to the south entrance to Yosemite. I would recommend accessing the park early morning to avoid long lines and enjoy cooler temperatures for hiking. There's a Fsh Camp store close by where you can get basic camping supplies. We stocked up on groceries at Oakhurst on our way to the cabin. Raley's was very friendly and supplied our needs. Von's is another option. Cooking supplies at the cabin are very basic, but enough for preparing simple meals.
Check the amenities carefully. We assumed that there would be a washer/dryer, (our fault) but the host is working through septic issues and so it wasn't available for guest use. We also arrived in the midst of a heat wave...real feel temperatures hovered around 100. Needless to say, this is unusual for the area, and no one uses AC. Thankfully, there were several fans that helped to pull in cooler air in the evenings.
The cabin is close to other activities, giving you many options besides the park. Kristin was a most responsive host, responding to questions within minutes and welcoming comments and suggestions. A quiet, cozy, peaceful retreat just waiting for you to enjoy!
Wonderful and cozy cabin in Yosemite! My teens loved the arcade games in the loft. Home is updated, well stocked and clean. Communication with host was easy. I highly recommend this place .
We had a great experience staying in the cabin! It was clean overall, and my daughter and son had a wonderful time—especially enjoying the little entertainment room. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the bedrooms were clean and warm throughout the night. Two small things that could make the stay even better:•The outdoor tables and chairs on the porch could use a quick cleaning—we would have loved to spend more time out there.•The body wash had run out, so we ended up using shampoo instead. All in all, it’s a very clean and fun cabin to stay in. We’ve already recommended it to friends!
Perfect location outside of Yosemite. The house was perfect, items like toiletries were a special touch! Communication with the owner was spot on, she was super responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend!!
This was a perfect home for our family of 6 to stay in while visiting Yosemite National Park. The location is so close to the entrance of the park and the home itself feels like you are in the park with great nature all around. The home was decorated so nicely with Anthropologie touches throughout. It felt cozy and comfortable! The game room in the loft made for hours of family fun after days of hiking. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with quality kichenware, spices, and the needed basics - that was above expectations. And the communication with the owner was great - super responsive. If I could give this home 10 stars, I would!
This was a fantastic location, especially as a base-camp for exploring Yosemite. Communication with Kristin was fantastic, and she was quick to respond to any inquiries. Beds we comfortable, kitchen was well equipped.
The A-Frame has several large Sugar Pine trees around it - and it was our first experience seeing these magnificent trees, and their VERY large pine cones! What a treat. Would stay again.
The cabin’s location is perfect for the vacation that we were looking for. Nestled and tucked away in the forest and surrounded by giant pine trees and awaken by the chirps of the birds was fantastic. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and just enjoy the tranquility and and slower pace here at this location. The hostess (Kristin) was very reachable via email/text. We would recommend a stay here for those that are looking to get away.
