Island Palms Motor Inn

"We had a lovely stay at Island Palms Motor Inn! Our room was spacious, modern and exceptionally clean. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies! The bathroom was large and spotless, with a massive shower that was an absolute bonus. We requested a quiet room and were given Room 21, tucked away in a lovely, peaceful corner with no one walking past. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway! Gayle was absolutely wonderful! So welcoming, friendly and genuinely sweet. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is convenient, with Woolworths and the Lakeside Tavern just a short walk away. It's a little further from the main town centre than I'd initially realised, but that's entirely down to my own research! 😂 Overall, a lovely, comfortable stay with wonderful hospitality. We'd happily stay again!"

"This is an amazing spot for families. Walking distance to everything, amazing amenities and so close to the water at Shoal Bay which is stunning. It can be pricey so keep an eye out for deals. It's also close to pubs and restaurants so if you like a quite area with no noise this may not be the spot for you. For us it was perfect."

"100% the perfect stay for a weekend, week or a month. In fact, why not move here? Loved every minute of our weekend stay. Walk to the beach, walk to the shops or just not walk anywhere because everything you need is right there. Will be back for sure"

"The property was great, nice and close to everything. The backyard is a work in progress but I loved it and so did my furbabies, they were safe only thing I would suggest is a table and some chairs outside to enjoy the beautiful afternoons while cooking a bbq. The host was great answering my questions promptly, overall a great stay we will come back"

"I was pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful Lani’s is. I imagine that it would get very hectic in the peak season tho. The accomodation was very clean including all the windows in the cabin which I really appreciated. My only complaint is that the bed was not as comfortable as I would’ve liked. I would happily recommend staying at Lani’s but perhaps bring a mattress topper if you like a soft mattress."
