This place was absolutely gorgeous!! Everything was just like the pictures on the Internet! Very clean, quiet, and only a short drive from Pine Junction which was delicious! Thank you to our host!! We will definitely be back!!

Pleasant farmhouse. Well maintained. Fridge had a lot of other people’s items outside the house on the side has a lot of debris. Could comfortably walk our dogs but inside was great.

A girlfriend and I were attending a workshop in the area and Step Back in Time Farmhouse was perfect for our needs. We brought our sewing machines to use in the evening and the kitchen peninsula and dining table made great sewing areas. The kitchen items were true sets, well stocked and well organized. The house was spotless. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Towels were complete sets and unstained. We highly recommended Step Back in Time Farmhouse to the other ladies attending the workshop.

This place was absolutely great. Convenient location. Lots of cool stuff and decor. Wish we could have stayed longer. Needs a better coffee maker. Will definitely return here if available next time we come.

Great experience, though short
Unfortunately, we arrived at 9 PM due to a long day of travel, but what a great place to unwind, after such a long day. We were greeted by our host, Kitty. (Who was amazing by the way. Very vocal in her welcoming. Lol. All 4 of us loved her to pieces. We left very early to continue our cross-country journey, so we didnt have time to enjoy all the festivities in the area, but TRULY enjoyed our stay. Very authentic farmhouse setting. Thank you SO much for everything.

Charming Farmhouse Down the Road from Findley Lake
What a delight this immaculate and charming farmhouse is! It was such a treat to step back in time with the decor and knick-knacks. Regardless of what Mother Nature has in store, this house will keep your entertained with a covered and nicely furnished outdoor porch, broadband internet, TV, videos and lots of board games. The backyard is spacious and has a dog lead that spans the length of the backyard for your Fido to run and explore. I found myself reliving my childhood...LOL! The kitchen is very spacious, perfect for entertaining. There is a nice work desk adjacent to the kitchen for those that may need to conduct business while the family plays. The mattresses on the beds are super comfortable. We appreciated the extra quilts and pillows. The bathroom and laundry rooms are too cute for words and the water heats up quickly. The home is conveniently located off the highway and just a few minutes' drive to the lake. We will definitely be back!

Farmhouse Charm
If you love an old farmhouse and very creative decorating then this is the place for you. The property was very cozy and comfortable, and the property owners were quick to respond to any messages sent. I would definitely stay there again!

Have stayed here twice. Going back in two weeks. Affordable, clean, quiet, good location with easy access to freeway, responsive owners. A charming two bedroom apartment with a vintage farm house vibe. We keep coming back and that should say it all.

Perfect little country apartment. Two comfortable bedrooms. We were in the area to look at real estate and this was a great location. Close to a major highway but not right outside the door. Easy access to Erie. Some small antique shops down the road for your down time. We had to bring our two cats with us and the owner accommodated them no problem. Everything you need for visiting when you have some other things you need to do. There is a lake down the road for those tourist types. Will stay there again.

Cute Farmhouse Minutes Away From Findley Lake, NY
Nicely appointed and clean property. Just off Interstate 86 in the Southern Tier 2 minutes from local Findley Lake. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Owner was very nice and easy to contact. Definitely will stay again if we are in the area.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
We absolutely loved staying at this property. We made a last minute reservation after deciding to go to Peek n Peak on New Years weekend, and were amazed at how homey the house felt. We unfortunately live in the suburbs and miss our old country house, so this stay brought a welcoming sense of nostalgia in our lives. The house is very clean and tastefully decorated. We look forward to coming back again!

Oh I'm so sorry our furniture was out dated. We actually picked both of those pieces from an antique store so it would fit the thym of the house . It is a very old house . Hope you had a great stay and made great memories .

It was the perfect spot for staying while in town visiting family. With the colors starting to turn, the surrounding area reminded us of something right out of a Hallmark movie. Great cozy house with plenty of games and activities for my little kids. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to have access to laundry. We would love to come back sometime.

Weekend getaway
Charming is the perfect word to describe this place. Quirky decorations, lots of games and space for everyone to gather, a run line that gives a dog access to most of the back yard. Needs a deep cleaning, but linens, floors and surfaces were clean when we arrived. Was unable to use the popcorn machine as it was dirty and the only cleaning solutions available were dish soap (tried it, needed something stronger) Lysol and OdoBan. I’d definitely stay again, but plan to bring my own cleaning supplies next time. Excellent location, easy to find and private with a great lakeside restaurant less than a mile away and a dollar store close by for the things we forget!

My friend and I were looking for something nice, easy to find, and comfortable as we were planning a writer's retreat weekend. This property was perfect for what we needed. Quirky, unique decor, homey presence, comfortable bed and couch... The coffee pot was a wonderful addition, as was the popcorn machine! I also really enjoyed the fact that it was within 25-30 min drive from Erie PA. We had supper at one of the local places based on the property owner's recommendation and it was excellent. We had a moment where we couldn't quite figure out the door combo / what knob to turn but I got a near immediate answer and it was super easy. Would definitely recommend or return if the situation lined up again.

Software error
We couldn’t stay there since your system never got the info that the house had already been booked. Thankfully I knew the folks who owned it and we worked things out and rented from another individual on the spur of the moment otherwise I’d have had 2 adults and 4 kids sleeping in tents at my house for 9 days. Gave a rating of all 5’s since the owners scrambled to help us. Not happy with the systems failure!

Little getaway
My pup and I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and although the weather was crappy, the farmhouse was very cozy. The location is perfect, about a half hour from Jamestown and the Erie wine trail. Next time I plan a trip to Erie, I would certainly like to stay there again!
