"There were 4 golfers, spouses and baby and all of our requests were met. Could not have been a better place for us. Everyone had their own bathroom and king bed. Kitchen was fully stocked and there were grocery stores nearby. We will recommend this place to anyone going to Scotland"

"Swilken View is the ideal property for a group on a golf holiday in Fife. To wake up every morning looking out over The Old Course is just incredible! There is no better location in St Andrews - walking distance to most everything. It appears the kitchen was recently remodeled with great appliances. While it could sleep 8, the 4 bedrooms allowed our foursome each a private room. The laundry room came in handy for mid-week washing. This place was so great that i would plan our next trip around...

"It was a lovely cottage in a lovely location. I would have given it a 5 star but there was a couple of things that made it a 4 star rating. The postcode doesn’t take you to the location and it would have helped if there had been directions given to let you know that. I had to contact the seller to find out how I get in as well as directions when we got there. No hand towels were provided and there was 5 of us staying who all needed those for after washing our hair. Very bare minimum of things...

"From the owner to the location, we couldn’t have asked for more. The house was well equipped and the owner went above and beyond to throw in some extras. He made our 3 year delay worth it. Fantastic pubs, within feet of property and downtown St. Andrews an easy 5 minute walk. Carrying the golf clubs to the first tee was about the best experience you can have as a golfer. Cheers!!"

"Week long stay with wife and friends. We love Cellardyke so always return. First time in this property and will return. Spacious rooms, very nice kitchen, and good bathrooms. The only issue was no shower in 3rd level bathroom. Without going into great detail, this property was exactly as advertised and we loved it. I’ve stayed in a few flats in Cellardyke but this one wins easily."

"Lovely and quiet neighborhood close to several grocery stores. Bus stop is close but we usually walked into the heart of the town for sightseeing and errands. I was with my son starting at university. We took a taxi to the residence hall on the day he moved in."

"What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."

"The house was perfect for our family very well equiped, plenty of space inside to spread out, bedrooms and bathrooms as required by us all. Lovely wee village and lots to do and see in the area. Enclosed garden for dogs and fantastic conservatory with dining space. Owner left us eggs from her own hens and easter chocolates. Would highly recommend, thank you."
