"This was the first time my family and I stayed in this property. It was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t be any better. It was near the end of a peninsula. The neighborhood was quiet. The waterways were quiet. It was not overcrowded on any spectrum. We had our own private little beach area. We stayed outside 90% of the time on the back porch. We cooked our meals and brought them all outside because it was so nice. The view was amazing all the downstairs rooms have open doors to the back porch. The upstairs room is a solid wall of windows overlooking the lake. Views are absolutely stunning. The host was amazing. Answered all of our questions in a very efficient amount of time. If there were 10 stars, I’d give this place 10 stars. The host even communicated some plans to make the property even more amazing and appealing. I would recommend this property 100%."

Waterfront Lake Buchanan Cottage w/ Kayaks!

"The lake view was perfect! The property is very secluded. It’s about a 20 minute drive into town. Being on a private road on the lake was peaceful and quiet. We were disappointed that the kayak had no seats and there were no life jackets. That’s one of the reasons we chose this property so it was a bummer not to go on the water. There is a canoe but without the life jackets the water was a little scary. Read what’s included. Bring soap because the hand soaps are all pretty empty and watered down. Overall nice place. Living room and dining area very spacious. Bed is firm but we didn’t mind. Property is within walking distance to the vanishing river cruise which is a must!"

"Easily the BEST vrbo we have stayed at. The living space was clean, there were plenty of watercrafts and water toys for the kiddos, as well as indoor toys which our little ones loved. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Washer and dryer was a big plus, especially with kids. The lake was peaceful, the large deck out back and grill were great. No complaints and would recommend!"

"Cute house and it had everything we needed. Could use some new light bulbs in a few areas and the dock needs some work, but not a big deal. The lake is way up so that couldn't be helped. Definitely would book again."
