"Family of 4 short stay - we had a lovely 4 days at Le Panorama. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The lounge and dining area are very relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are ok. In need of a little modernizing but were warm and functional. The swimming pool was at the end of a strange spiral staircase but the water was warm and good after skiing. "The owners of L'Ajasserie in Orcival are just wonderful! Claude and Rosi made our stay so pleasant and serve a wonderful dinner, Rosi's cuisine. Orcival is a lovely small town with an amazing Romanesque church, the prettiest wee saw. If you want an authentic Auvergne experience, not a cookie-cutter hotel experience, I would highly recommend L'Ajasserie d'Orcival. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Not impressed, don't expect too much
"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which as so small that we barely fit and had problems closing the door, because our legs were too long. The breakfast was ok but some things had run low or out and while we were eating it was not refilled and other used tables had not been cleared"
