"This was a very good motel like set up. The front desk was beyond helpful at check in- the place was spotless. There is a cannabis dispensary around the corner and smells waft over do if that offends you you might not like it but it doesn’t bother us! The pool area was great and everything maintained well."

"This beautiful and historic hotel was definitely a disappointment. The only staff we ever saw was the single desk clerk, The room had few outlets, and lacked typical amenities. Upkeep was quite lacking and the breakfast was typical cheap motel fare. I love quirky old hotels, but wouldn't stay in this one again nor recommend it to others. The corporation that owns it needs to invest in it or sell it to someone who will."

"Just so you know, if you check in late (9pm for us). You can't go in the lobby. You can only talk to the front desk through a side window and one of those sliding drawers that they have at drive through banks. From there you'll see about 50 different images of their security cameras. I was incredibly uncomfortable. I did not feel safe but we already paid for the room. In the room we could not get WiFi to work. Perhaps they needed to allow-list our devices to make it work. The room was stark and small with poor lighting. Unfortunately I found hairs on a towel and a small hair clog on the shower floor. Not the end of the world, but things just kept adding up. There was a lot of noise and at 4am someone was shouting profanities somewhere outside our room. I wasn't sure how to handle the remote (so I didn't)."

"after my first night, the bed was not made, nor did staff resupply towels. I was told I needed to request these things. Any hotel I have stayed at always provided this service. The lighting was minimal. One bedside lamp and one next to the door. No overhead lights, making reading difficult. A staff member brought me another lamp. The TV was difficult to use."
