"Hotel Walhalla is directly across from St. Gallen HB (train station). This makes it incredibly convenient for travel, requiring no taxi or Uber. Local public transportation is in abundance. It is a short walk to Marktplatz for dining and shopping. The St. Gallen Textile Museum, the Cathedral, and the Abbey Bibliothek are easily within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The showers were delightful. The breakfast buffet offered options from scrambled or hard boiled eggs, three different yogurt options, fresh fruit, breads/rolls, pancakes, cereal, bacon, and fruit juices."

"Comfortable room, with parking space w/o extra charges, spa very clean. The fact the hotel has a restaurant was very good specially for Easter period where most of the places are closed. There is a nice ice cream place close to the hotel! "

Next to train station, colleague had some noise but no issue for me. Walking distance to town centre square - 12 minutes. Car parking in front, free or underground 8 Euro/night. Supermarket 2 minutes walk."
