"When I arrived I was informed there were no rooms available and that I had to wait. Ok. While I was waiting, I counted at least 10 people who arrived AFTER me and got rooms right away!"

"We had to uber everywhere. If you’re going to go on a tour or walk around it would be better to stay near Copacabana beach. Check in is at 3:00, so hopefully your flight doesn’t come in early unless you want to pay more for early check in. The room itself was good. The airconditioning was great. "The Saionara is close to two metro stations and the main bus station. There are eateries and a market very close by. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The shower is excellent. Breakfast is good with all the usual choices. For some reason I was not able to use the internet. I could log on but there was no service which made things a little difficult. "
