"This is a beautiful, quiet location, and the cabin is well maintained. The grill worked well, the kitchen had everything we needed, and lots of towels were provided, even swim towels, which we didn't expect. There are three bedrooms with doors, though the last is a single pull out that was fine for our 20 year old daughter. "The area is so convenient for any business you have in the Augusta area- right off the main thoroughfare yet far enough away to be private. Check in was as simple as getting the lock code from vrbo check in emails. The apartment is even more lovely than the pictures- almost too clean and comfortable to be real! Bedtime was silent so I got a great night sleep. I only wish we would have had more time to enjoy :) Highly recommend!! "

"Having never been here before, I was surprised by how easy they made it to find the property. The driveway down to the house is NOT paved but safe to drive down. It’s not steep or slick. In the winter months however , I would make sure 4 wheel drive is an option. The cabin is, I’m not kidding you, perfect. It has kayaks, two docks to fish from. A sandy area near the dock to go into the water without having to worry about a weedy bottom. The view is amazing on the water when the morning fog clears. It’s quite literally like something from a movie. The host was not overbearing like some can be. The house rules are easy to both find and follow. The firewood was not something I knew about until AFTER my trip was over. Only because the magnet holding the posted rules on the fridge was in the way. Boy was I embarrassed. I was buying firewood the whole weekend haha. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again. I’m going to make it a tradition to come here yearly with my boys."

"My father and I had a great week at the cabin! We spent plenty of time fishing from the dock, enjoying the wildlife, and relaxing by the fireplace. The cabin was cozy, very well-equipped, and in such a peaceful setting. Roger and Elaine were such wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming while always respecting our privacy. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!"

"I loved Little Paradise Island, but it’s definitely not for everyone. A shade above camping, but with more amenities and a solid roof over your head. The perfect getaway to unplug and reset from the world, if even for a short time and if you enjoy being out on the water then you can’t ask for more. Plenty of hiking trails nearby to enjoy and entertainment options if you’re willing to travel. I loved my stay and can’t wait to come back."
