"Very nice hotel. Hotel hospitality exemplified by the man Mansour at the front desk. He was the only English speaking staff member there! I appreciated his service. Room was very comfortable. I tolerated warm water showers. Only downside was the restaurant. The restaurant staff were not very polite nor hospitable. The breakfast display and options leave so much more to be desired-not the greatest. Also those chairs in the lobby were better suited for a balcony not the reception area. All in all...

"Super lovely, peaceful and clean. The location is perfect - calm but also very close to some sights and beach areas. The staff is very kind and helpful - they can helps arrange taxis, buses (to Saint Louis for example) and cash exchanges. The rooftop space is amazing for relaxing and some nights has fun stuff going on life movie night. Highly recommend!"

"Every time I come to Dakar for work, I stay here! Nothing like working on the balcony with a sea breeze and view of the pirogues! :) The staff are also amazingly friendly and wonderful, and you can just walk out the door and be on the beach and have access to all the restaurants around, incluiding the delicious seafood at Cabane du Pecheur next door!"

"Likes: staff is responsive and accommodating. It's not far from downtown and the Corniche. There is breakfast and a couple of choices for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. It's a good deal for the price. It is in a busy neighborhood, with lots of people around. It's quite safe, but you should be aware that it is not in an upscale neighborhood. I've stayed there several times and will again on my next trip. "

"The hotel is in a great location, close to the seafront and restaurants. The hotel itself has been extended, the old building is somewhat dated and has a funny smell at night.
