"Phenomenal stay! The hosts were very welcoming and had everything set up as said in our welcome email. The place has instructions for everything and was extrememly user-friendly. Actually very eaay to get to the cabin. We drove a minivan up to it and had no issues on road. The windows in thia place are set up awesome and the sunset was crazy! Would definitely stay here again if we decide to visit Blue Ridge. It was also very close to Helen and a lot of cool hidden stops along the way."

"Awesome home with gorgeous views!!! House was immaculate and seemed to be brand new. Windows were floor to ceiling in almost every room allowing you to see the Blue Ridge mountains and river. Bedrooms were perfect with en suite bathrooms. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Wood burning fireplaces with pre-cut wood was a plus! Also the hot tub was huge and was already hot when we arrived. Kitchen has everything you need and everything was very modern. Highly recommend Grace restaurant in town but make reservations….food was great! Very nice steakhouse! Road up the mountain is a little narrow but well worth it when you reach the house at the top. Highly recommend this home!!!!"

"Castaway Cabin was an amazing location and had everything you could want for a comfortable getaway. We could not have been more thrilled with cabin and all the amenities. To top it off, Rick and Janet are amazing hosts. Such great hospitality during our stay and communication before our arrival was perfect. I highly recommend staying here if you are coming to the Blue Ridge area, especially if you are interested in fishing."

"The view was amazing as was the cabin. I love the fact that we had some cold weather since I lived in Florida and don’t see that very often. It was very peaceful. Especially enjoyed the outside fireplace where the kids made some more and we watched football all bundled up. My only concern was a driveway. It is extremely steep. Wasn’t sure my car would make it, but it did. Was absolutely worth it. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this Blue Ridge cabin! The home was in great condition and very well appointed. We really appreciated the thoughtful starter supplies in the kitchen, as well as the fully stocked bathrooms—having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available was such a nice touch.The hot tub was a big hit with our group—spotlessly clean and even stocked with a special basket of towels. The kitchen was also very well equipped with cookware, which made meal prep easy. (A small suggestion for the owner: a few extra serving bowls or platters would be helpful as you continue to build out the supplies.)The home had abundant parking—a definite plus in this area—and we loved the great grill on the deck for our gameday burgers and hot dogs! The kids enjoyed the board games and activities, which made the stay even more family-friendly.A couple of notes for future guests: there isn’t a bathtub in the home, which we didn’t notice when booking and found a bit tricky with our youngest guests, but we made it work. Also, due to how the house sits, there isn’t much of a mountain view—but the beautiful fireplace and lovely covered outdoor areas more than made up for it.The owner was very responsive, but I would have appreciated a brief welcome guide or email with check-in/check-out instructions. A simple one-pager would make the experience even smoother.Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this home for families or groups looking for a comfortable, well-"
