"An excellent place to stay in Funchal! A very convenient location, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is very attentive, the breakfast is wonderful and varied, and there is a rooftop pool and bar with a magnificent view!"

"Would not recommend. My reservation was for 2 Twin bed rooms but upon arrival, front desk said their information was for 2 Queen rooms. I had a hard copy of Expedia Reservation but there was only one twin room available and the other room was a Queen. The room smelled like raw sewage. The breakfast room had one coffee machine and the line was 10 people long during breakfast. "
