Six South St Hotel

"This was a beautifully decorated hotel! The front desk staff, including valets, were very kind and helpful. The rooms had small cooled “drink drawers” and guests were offered access to bottled water, apples and packaged cookies in a cutely decorated area just outside the elevators. They also offered delicious fresh baked cookies in the evenings! I stayed three nights. The housekeeping left much to be desired. The first day they did not replace the shower mat, nor remove/replace used glassware. The did not restock the water bottle (supplied for the coffee maker) nor the coffee/creamer. On my second morning I returned to find only some of the cleaning completed again. The used towels were removed but they only replaced some of them (no hand towels this time). The coffee/creamer were not refilled, again, but this time I did have a fresh bottle of water for the coffee maker (?). Dirty glassware was removed this time but only some of it replaced. They DID NOT even make the bed the second day!! Both days the front desk staff brought up the missing items, however I did not have them make the bed. I tend to go out of my way, as a hotel guest, to keep my personal items picked up for the very purpose of making cleaning/straightening of the room as simple as possible. They did offer a continental breakfast, however, it was very minimal. The bar and restaurant were closed my first two nights there (Sunday & Monday)."

"Extremely appealing motel accommodations in lodgepole and rustic wood construction. The outdoor pool is set in a lawn and is near shade trees. The pool deck is beautifully arranged with outdoor furniture. The hot tub in a separate structure was very pleasant to use. Our room with standard double beds shared a verandah with other motel rooms. The verandahs have a deep roof overhand to shade them from sun and weather and are furnished with benches and throw pillows. They made a good spot for me to relax and enjoy birdsong and the surrounding trees after a long drive."

"The Inn is opposite Quechee Gorge so a great location. The room itself could do with updating but was still comfortable. It was easy to check-in and my request for a room away from vending machines and AC generators was honored but it was overlooking the road (US-4) so there was significant noise from passing vehicles. If staying again, I will also request the room is on the back of the property! There were a good amount of choices for breakfast, and I noticed cookies in the lobby when we arrived."

Fireside Inn & Suites West Lebanon

"So, I'll say that my stay was well worth the money. The room was clean, and I have no complaints about the staff as the lady at the counter was welcoming and respectful. My one gripe would have to be the AC unit which worked continuously, which I was happy about. The one issue I had with it was my inability to adjust the temperature setting, but who knows - that could have been on me. The fireplace was lovely and it added a comforting touch to the room. All in all, this is certainly a place to consider when in the area."

Super 8 by Wyndham White River Junction

"It had the most important things we needed: the best ac, an extremely comfortable bed and the ability to bring our fur baby. The staff was very nice, and being able to grab a bowl of cereal or a bagel in the morning was a plus. Close to Putnam's Vineyard. While not it was a little pricey it was a cool place to hang out. It was also a mile from a great dog park for our girl."
