We had a great stay!
The cottage was very comfortable for my family, (5 adults). It was clean and well stocked with everything you could want at the beach. Sloane was very responsive and wanted to be sure we had a great vacation. We would happily stay again!
My family and I loved our stay here. The cottage was everything we expected and more. The host was amazing and when we reached out to her with questions she responded immediately. We enjoyed fishing and looking for sea glass at the beach just steps away. We cant wait to go back next year!
This is our second year staying at the seaside cottage. We had a great time! The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and well set up with everything you need. I enjoyed my morning tea on the beautiful back deck each day. Sloane is a great host and very responsive. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!!
We had a beautiful stay here! The beach is small and somewhat private with not many people on it. The home is cute with a lot of New England charm! Great little community and a great yard for the kids to play when not at the beach!
The location near the quiet beach is unbeatable. Owners were very communicative. The cottage makes good use of small spaces and has everything you need for the week. We had a great time.
Three house was or base of operations for the New Bedford folk festival. It was close enough to town to make that convenient but we could hear the waves hitting the shore at night to put us to sleep.
I loved this house so much. I've stayed at other places before and I felt like a guest. This place is so great I hope to come back as soon as the weather turns warm.
Memorial Weekend Family Get together in Fairhaven, Ma.
4 adults visiting family and friends close by. Location was just right. Cottage was perfect for our needs. Beach within view for seaglass, drift wood and shell hunts. Numerous restaurants now open to everyone. Awesome.
Cute little cottage near the water. Neighborhood is a little rough and we couldn't find anywhere to actually walk by the water (its all private property).
Central location (approximately an hour from Boston and Cape Cod).
Our family of five fit comfortably in this cozy beach cottage as a home base for a couple of days of summer fun and then a family wedding in Mattapoisett. Nice deck and back yard with lawn chairs to enjoy the breeze and listen to the waves from the Bay. Ceiling fans helped with the warm summer days and nights. Hosts were great and communicative.
It was a very cute and quaint cottage that was very clean. It was a great weekend getaway and we give it overall 5 stars. I only wish there had been a full length mirror since I was getting ready for a wedding đ. Owners were gracious, kind and responded immediately to any requests or inquiries. I recommend this cottage for a relaxing getaway!
Such a cute place, was comfortable for 3 adults, lovely beachy decor and comfy beds, and especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and grill. Some of the glassware was quite dusty, but after a quick clean, we were good to go. Everything else clean. The beach was RIGHT down the lane, which was neat, although not super swim friendly, more good for a nice evening stroll. Thanks for the lovely stay!
Thank you for the awesome beach adventure! Your cottage was absolutely perfect. Exactly as described, beautifully decorated, extremely clean and had all the necessities for a beach stay right there (chairs, cooler, towels, umbrella, sand toys). We walked right to the private beach and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood so much. Your welcome packet was also very informative and we did many of the activities listed. Sloane was an extremely communicative hostess and also very kind - offering us an extra night because we missed one due to weather. Great experience!
Cute cozy cottage near the beach with everything you need to get away. Owner was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the beach access, deck and yard. We were able to enjoy a fire on the beach and watch amazing fireworks across the bay for the 4th of July weekend. It was a crazy week for weather when we were there. It was a little chilly when we arrived and the cottage was perfect but as it got really hot and humid by the end the week, it got a little warm in the cottage, especially in the bedrooms during the evening. It was the perfect location for day trips to the Cape and Boston.
My husband and I wanted to explore the Cape and this was a great landing spot to do that. The cottage is so charming and you will feel at home as soon as you step in. You can tell that everything was well thought out- we had everything we needed. They have the beach essentials- towels, chairs, and cooler. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. It is a short drive to the New Bedford Ferry terminal, where you can take a day trip to Martha's Vineyard. It is also convenient for a day trip to other Cape towns. Sloane was quick to respond and gave great advice and recommendations. Family Tides was the perfect spot to rest and rejuvenate after exploring the Cape!
This little cottage is covered in nostalgia. Angels from above couldnât have gotten it any cleaner. Plenty of towels and we loved the beach accessories to borrow like chairs towels and toys. Short walk down a private trail to the water.
No traffic here and the neighbors were all quiet as church mice.
Grocery store right down the road. Never heard a police or ambulance siren anywhere. Sitting by the water and watching the boats on the other side of the bay was fabuous. If youâre looking for old fashioned yet super sanitary this is the one.
The house was perfect for our family of 5 (one teenager, two young children). The bayside beach is a 2 minute walk out the front door, and the calm waters are perfect for swimmers, sun bathers, and shell collectors. New Bedford is a 10-minute drive away, and many Cape Cod attractions are about an hour.
Quaint off the pages of Coastal Living, cottage close to beaches. Tiny house charm with places for peaceful living. Sloane was the ultimate host with plenty of wonderful suggestions on places to go and restaurants to eat. Thank you.
We had a great time here, excellent access to the beach, really enjoyed having beach chairs, towels, and some surprise bathroom toiletries available to use. We got there on a super hot and humid day so it was a little uncomfortable to unpack, but the little a/c did a good job when the weather broke at keeping it comfortable in the house. Sloane was very communicative and a pleasure to work with.
This place is a diamond in the rough. You will love your stay here and the proximity to the beach. Sloan has thought of everything that you might need and it is at the cottage. Communication was wonderful. And the description of the cottage was accurate. There is one wall AC unit so if you are coming in the middle of the summer make sure to know that youâre going to be hot. However that is stated in the description.
My girlfriends and I had such a nice relaxing weekend. Being literal steps to the beach was clutch - no having to pack up the car with chairs and coolers. A short drive to some great spots in New Bedford. Would stay again!
