Welcome to The Stilt House, where tranquility meets adventure in the heart of nature. Step into the space and be greeted by its charming loft-style design. The main floor features a well-appointed living area with a comfortable sofa, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. Ascend the ladder to find a snug loft bedroom, complete with a plush queen-sized bed adorned with soft linens. Natural light floods through the windows, providing stunning views of the surrounding woods and hollow.

Explore the natural beauty right outside your door. The Stilt House boasts access to three picturesque trails that wind through the property, offering opportunities for hiking enthusiasts. Spend leisurely afternoons fishing in two serene ponds or visiting the chickens in the garden. As night falls, gather around the fire pit for stargazing and storytelling under the clear night sky.

Nestled on a gentle hillside with almost sixty acres to explore, peaceful adventure is all around you. Find all three ponds on the property, hike to Uhler Point, or walk through the garden to watch the chickens play.  For those who wish for adventure outside of Perkins Hollow, the Nelson 151 Brew Trail and the Route 29 Wine Corridor well within driving distance. Just a few miles down the road is the award-winning Delfosse Winery or go spend time at the idyllic Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyard a little further away. 

While you'll enjoy exclusive use of your private cottage, the surrounding property offers shared access to nature's beauty, including the two ponds and three hiking trails with other Perkins Hollow Retreat guests.

We are free via the VRBO app, text, or call should you have any questions or concerns. Contactless, self check-in and out will be provided prior to your stay. You will have the entire cottage to yourself.

Driving will be your main form of transportation . Uber and Lyft are available but our location is remote so your cost may be higher.

We are surrounded by wooded areas so you will see the occasional wildlife. Please come prepared with sunscreen and bug spray.

Electric and motor vehicles (dirt bikes, ATVs, 4-wheelers, etc) are not permitted on the property.

You may fish CATCH AND RELEASE only with BARBLESS hooks.
