"What a such a wonderful week at La Grange de Chatelus! We were three families (six adults, eight children) and we stayed for a week during August. The house is stunning, huge rooms, comfortable beds, amazing ensuites to all the bedrooms, multiple washing machines, tumble dryers and even two dishwashers. The kids loved the swimming pool, cinema room and pool table. Richard and Sisca were great hosts, they quickly replied to our messages and the lady who checked us in was very helpful. We had a great afternoon by the river down the road, we hired a boat and canoes which was lots of fun! The house is quite remote with a drive to supermarkets and towns but this was perfect for us. Thanks for a brilliant stay!"

"Stayed here on way to a reunion in southern France. Had stayed at other hotels and this one was very much better. Unfortunate that the restaurant was closed on Sunday night but not totally unexpected. Staff were helpful."

"The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful without being pushy. The food in the restaurant was excellent, although my steak was rather tough. Not unusual in France I'm afraid. I should have known better. Fantastic value for money. I would happily stay here again. "

"The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful and brought us a kettle! If you just wish to chill out in nature it's great."

"We had a wonderful week at La Graffeuille and would have been very happy to stay another week. It is such a special place with everthing that a family could need for a holiday. We loved it all - pool, decking area, large garden (fully fenced - perfect for furry friends!), hot tub, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely balcony for morning coffee! Richard and Karen were so friendly and all communication was clear and helpful. We will definitely be back!"
