"It was an unforgettable stay . "This is a beautiful hotel, set in a tranquil garden, with a lovely view. The staff members were helpful and very friendly, and the room was enormous, interesting and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk into town, and around the ramparts of the city. It’s a pity we had just one night, we would have liked to have stayed longer. Very good breakfast"

"Nice hotel in Angouleme. Had a little difficulty finding it at night since not familiar with area. Had after hours check in which went well, although gate for accessing parking area was not automatic but manual. Hotel is new in an older building, but that adds to its charm and has all the modern amenities (including A/C, which not all hotels have in the area). The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, but was small like most French hotel rooms. Enjoyed our one night stay and would stay here again if we are in the area. "
