First off, this hotel is super over priced. At the time it was being remodeled. It smelled like paint, a dog kept barking in the next room, and the room had old smoking room smell.

Evergreen Hotel has been our go-to hotel when we visit our son in Monroe. The cleanliness and hospitality quality is outstanding! Friendly staff always ready to help. We stayed there over Easter weekend and Monday morning (9:30) we heard a fire alarm go off. The staff was quick to apologize and explain the construction crew was sanding and accidentally set off the alarm. We will continue to stay with Evergreen! Thanks!!
