Bed and Breakfast in Etchingham

"The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating! Every request that I made was fulfilled happily. The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was a good variety of food for breakfast. Our dog stayed with us and there was a very nice area for her to run around."

"It was a free bee night from hotel. com , we was not treated any different, we have book to stray next month , only thing wrong in the room was the tv and the mirror need to be swapped , but that just my opinion as the settee was opposite the mirror , if we took a hot shower or bath , I didn’t know where the ventaxia didn’t work or no paperwork to tell you , how it works , but other wise the room was clean , bedding was clean , love the touch that angie done it "

"We had a great stay in the hotel (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 nights). Our room was bright and clean, and surprisingly spacious. Upon arrival, we noted that we were expecting an extra bed in our room; one was promptly sent up and made up. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is 3-stars for a reason: it hasn't been refurbished in a long time, so if you're looking for examples of cutting edge design, you might try somewhere else (probably outside of Eastbourne?). But The Lansdowne is very well looked after by the staff, and this gives the hotel a lovely nostalgic feel. Whenever we're headed to Eastbourne again we'll try to stay there first."

"Excellent stay, great staff, enjoyed the pool. Only complaint was the bed, very soft, my husband is heavier than me so mattress was always at a slant and you could really feel it when the other moved. "

"Amazing gem of a hotel and the most lovely staff. We needed a pair of connecting rooms, and one room for my elderly uncle and aunt with an easy access shower. Both requests were readily met with no fuss, which we really appreciate. I would not hesitate in booking another stay here!"
