We enjoyed our stay at this one bedroom "cabin" (more like a small house!) on the west side of Estes Park. While the furniture was a bit outdated, it was a good fit for our family with younger kids. The kids built a fort out of the cushions to sleep in the living room while the bedroom provided a comfortable space for me and my wife to sleep. The kitchen was a nice setup for us to cook all of our meals over the course of the weekend - there were plenty of pots/pans/utensils. There was a nice patio space for eating and watching cars headed in/out of the park and listening to the birds (the property does sit pretty close to the Fall River road, but traffic noise was not really a bother overall. The views, while not epic, were still attractive - you definitely know that you are in the mountains! The bathroom was ample size with a jet-tub and shower combo. A visit into RMNP was enhanced by the quick and easy 0.5 mile distance to the Fall River entrance station. In the evening it was a short drive into town for ice cream. There was a nice hot tub in a small indoor building that you could sign up for in half hour increments and have confidence that you had the place to yourself. The property itself was nice, with a 1980s throw-back vibe to places I stayed as a child in the Appalachians. This is not necessarily a super luxury accommodations, but if you like down scaled old-school vibes, then we would definitely recommend this property.
