Really enjoyed our stay here! The check-in process was easy, the property was very clean and conveniently located to town, and communication with the host was quick and responsive.
We enjoyed our stay here while in Estes Park. The location is great, close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and bed was comfortable!
We loved our stay. The panoramic view from the deck was spectacular and the cabin had everything we needed. There are a lot of neighbors you share the area with but there's a decent amount of privacy. Great distance from Estes Park and RMNP. Would definitely stay here again.
Had a great experience staying here. Condo was clean and had everything you needed. Enjoyed star gazing at night and sitting by the fireplace. Great location to Estes Park and RMNP.
Hope to be back soon.
The neighborhood was very quiet, condo was clean and a short drive to town. Had a great view and saw wildlife every night when we sat on the deck to relax after a day of hiking. The kitchen could use a couple more items but we managed with what we had. Overall, we had a great stay and will stay there again.
The view from the deck is gorgeous! As others noted, the unit is a little hard to find; but worth it when you do. The bedroom/bathroom setup is odd (king bedroom has tiny bathroom, while queen bedroom has a great bathroom), but since it was just hubby and me, it worked fine for us
We loved the place, couldn’t get enough of the view. The place was cozy and met all of our needs. Close to RMNP. Pool and hot tub rocked.
Only downside was finding it. There wasn’t any address to see, we searched a good 15 minutes going in circles trying to find it.
Beautiful stay, if you are planning on watching movies and TV in the main room for long periods of time, I do not recommend this cabin. The TV is small and tucked away above the refrigerator. I didn't watch any TV and otherwise the stay was comfortable. To the owner of the cabin, please get more pots and non stick pans. In order to get to the master bedroom you need to walk through the 2nd bathroom and if someone is sleeping it can wake them up. If none of these things matter then you will be very pleased with the stay. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our stay; however, having to walk through on of the bedrooms to get to the master was a bit difficult with kids sleeping. The guest bathroom was amazing and a perfect size. The king bed in the master was great but the master bathroom was much smaller and not much room in the shower. Thankfully we weren’t in our condo much as it is smaller than anticipated but we had everything that we needed. The gas fireplace was amazing but the tv over the fridge was kind of tucked away. We arrived at night so I’m thankful that I read reviews as it was rather difficult to find the entrance without having to do steps. Suggest sending a better map with instructions to park on the backside would be rather helpful. Being able to sit on our deck and watch the sunrise was beautiful and my kids enjoyed listening to the elk and other animals
Perfect for our anniversary getaway. The view is stunning and the location is a perfect mix away from downtown and close enough to join in all the hustle and bustle.
On numerous days we saw wildlife around our area. Elk, deer, and birds mostly.
Amenities were awesome, and place was clean and just the right size for a small group. It was just the two of us, but we'll definitely be back with the kids.
The only difficulty was initially finding the exact condo, as the front door is facing the balcony away from the street. If we would've arrived after dark there's no way we would've found it (the gate with the condo number was not closed where we could see it). So additional instructions to locate the exact condo would be suggested from owners to help with any dropped reception as soon as you arrive on the property grounds. (that happened but after a few times driving around and some investigation we found it)
Other than that it was perfect. Highly recommend if you want a quiet, beautiful location.
Wonderful place but experience marred by HOA scheduling roof replacement during our stay
We arrived on Wednesday, August 16 for a 6 night stay. The rental is very nice, cozy and clean, with a great view of the valley, giant boulders, and Mary's Lake. It more than met our expectations. We noticed that many packages of roof shingles had already been placed on top of the roof when we moved in, so it was clear that the roof was soon to be replaced. But we were astonished to be notified on Sunday morning by SkyRun (the vacation rental company) that it had just learned that the Mary's Lake Condominiums home owners association (HOA) had scheduled the routine roof replacement to begin the next day, to proceed from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday. We protested, as roof replacement is very noisy and messy major construction. Carol from SkyRun was able to find an unrented condo in the complex for us to move into that evening. The new place was an upgrade, larger and nicer than the original, and we appreciate SkyRun for this. But it was a hassle to move over on Sunday night, we had liked the place we had paid for, and we deeply resented the breach of faith of being forced to either endure major construction on our unit or move. We are told that the HOA coordinates with owners but not rental companies about maintenance timing, so a fiasco like this could happen again at Mary's Lake Condominiums.
Wonderful - perfect location, quiet, amazing view of Estes Park. The condo was clean, beautiful, well-equipped. Plenty of "extras," nice linens, wonderful mattresses - great communication with SkyView with clear instructions on entry, check-out. A great experience - would absolutely come back and would recommend to anyone.
When we first walked into this condo we thought "wow this is really rustic"! Within 2 hours,we,were in love. It was absolutely spotless and the bed linens were high end hotel grade. We had plenty of towels and the kitchen was very well stocked. The crown jewel of this place is the spacious front porch overlooking Marys Lake and the mountains. It is small but perfect for the 3 of us. Side note - the campground store less than a mile away had anything you might need (except alcohol).
