This mountain home sits on a steep, private driveway. AWD/4WD is required in winter and strongly recommended year-round. Sports cars and low-clearance vehicles are not suitable for this property in any season.

Check in at 4pm or later; check out at 10am or earlier. Early check-in is available for a small fee but cannot be reserved until 24 hours before arrival and only then if the cleaning schedule allows.

Like nearly all homes in Estes, this cabin has no air conditioning. Portable fans and ceiling fans are provided, and mountain breezes cool things down quickly each evening.

No smoking, no pets, and no events or gatherings exceeding 10 people.

Welcome to Elkspire, a spacious three-level mountain home on 18 private acres bordering Roosevelt National Forest. A two-story wall of windows in the great room frames breathtaking mountain views.

This is a place designed for gathering — a granite kitchen stocked for big group meals, a dining table that seats the whole party, and wraparound decks where you`ll want to eat every meal when the weather is warm.

Step outside and you`re on your own private trail system winding through aspens and over footbridges, with a 9-hole disc golf course on the property. Wildlife is abundant — elk, deer, and the occasional bobcat are regular visitors. Yet you`re only about 10 minutes from downtown Estes Park shops, restaurants, and groceries, and Rocky Mountain National Park`s entrances are a short drive away.

The lower level is built for downtime with a family room, foosball table, board games, a kitchenette with mini fridge and wine fridge, and a private fitness room equipped with an elliptical, treadmill, spin bike, and adjustable dumbbells. Two laundry rooms on separate floors mean you won`t be waiting around on long stays.

Bedroom 1 - `Fox` King Suite (Main Floor): Vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, and direct deck access for sunset views. En-suite bathroom with dual sinks, walk-in shower, and jetted soaking tub.

Bedroom 2 - `Wolf` King (Main Floor): King bed with a dedicated bathroom just across the hall featuring a tub/shower combo.

Bedroom 3 - `Buffalo` King Suite (Upper Level): A private loft-level retreat with its own bathroom and shower, plus a reading nook with couch seating outside the bedroom.

Bedroom 4 - `Stanley` Queen (Lower Level): Queen bed with access to two hallway bathrooms.

Bedroom 5 - `Lynx` Queen (Lower Level): Queen bed with access to two hallway bathrooms.

Main Floor - Fox En-Suite: A full four-piece bath with dual vanity sinks, a walk-in shower, and a jetted soaking tub.

Main Floor - Wolf Bathroom: Full bath across the hall with a tub/shower combo.

Lower Level Bathroom 1: Full bath with tub/shower combo.
