Estes Park Registration # 3463 Live like a local! Kiss the Mountain Air We Breathe! Fresh on the market—new paint, floors and updates throughout! Enjoy the bright, sunny and colorful home of one of Estes Park’s long-standing families; Estes Parkians since 1945 when the Nagl family first opened the doors of the Wheel Bar! Find wooden nickels at the house and take those along to be sure the first drink is on us.
The Entire Home
Located within walking distance of everything downtown Estes Park has to offer. At night from the back deck, you’ll enjoy the lights of The Stanley and The Historic Crag’s hotels. From the front porch see magnificent views of Long’s Peak. There is one King and three Queen beds in the house, each one has a fun theme. The mattresses range from pillow top to memory foam, to assure there is a place for everyone to get the perfect night’s sleep before you set out to enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park and all of downtown’s amenities. If you need more room to spread out, there is also a pull-out couch in the basement, next to the game room. There are four bathrooms, including two jacuzzi tubs-one in the primary bath and one downstairs. You will find a blow-up bed in the basement game room if you prefer to put your little ones in your room, and there is a pack ‘‘n play in the primary bedroom closet. The home has brand new Hickory floors on the main and brand new carpeting upstairs and downstairs. There are three smart TVs and a DVD/blue ray players in both the primary bedroom and downstairs. The kitchen table seats up to nine with two more stools at the island, a double oven, and a truly well-stocked kitchen; this is a perfect space for entertaining! There is also outdoor seating on the deck and a bar with casino style games downstairs. Kids will enjoy a secret toy-filled fort under the stairs and all will enjoy the game room. We have left some notes and coupons about our favorite places in town and the businesses of friends and family--the Rock Inn, the Barrel, Estes Park Tours and Fun City! And don’t forget the Donut Haus—a short, rock scramble away to assure you beat the crowds each morning to get your favorites. We recommend trying the cheesecake, sprinkles, blueberry and the warm apple fritter!

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! The pictures are true to what you see when you walk in the door, no surprises. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was plenty of space for our family to spread out. We loved how close it was to downtown and to go to the National Park!
We had a girls trip to Estes Park and had an absolute blast!! The house was so cozy, close to town, great amenities, and super cool vibe overall! I will absolutely stay there again!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Overlook. It was very convenient location to walk around town. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck in the mornings and evenings taking in the beautiful views. The home had everything we needed and the owners were very responsive to our questions and requests.
This house is perfect for my friends and family. The kids play room and downstairs are great as well. This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed here! If it’s available next year, this place will be at the top of our list
We had a great stay. Jesse was very responsive to our needs. It was clean and met all our needs. We loved being within walking distance of the downtown area. We especially loved being so close the RMNP entrance. We would stay there again!!!
We had to book this trip last minute as the other property we had booked canceled due to some type of plumbing issue. The property was wonderful, had everything we needed, and was very close to town! It had a great back patio, so I have to imagine it would be even better in the summer!
The views from the deck are outstanding! The house has a lot of space! Could have been a bit cleaner and several lights were burned out. 3 bedrooms are upstairs and one is on the main floor. One bathroom is in the basement. It's a quick walk to town which is really nice!
The home was clean, spacious, and had enjoyable amenities! The check-in and check-out processes were clear, and we appreciated the binder full of local places to eat and activities to do. The home was in great proximity to Rocky Mountain National park and downtown Estes Park, making getting around a breeze. We loved seeing an Elk and its baby grazing their way through the backyard one evening. Thank you for a wonderful week!
Overall we had a great stay! The home comfortably slept 8 adults. It was an easy walk into town. Grill, deck and hot tub were great amenities. The only minor issue was we stayed over a very hot weekend so bedroom ceiling fans would have been preferred over box fans that were provided with the rental.
We were in for a wedding, and took time to have a family get together. The house was a perfect size as some people still had to work. The location was great were we were able to walk to town and the river walk with no problem. Granted climbing the hill on the way back gave you a great workout. Also, access to the National Park was great!!
We stayed 4 nights and spent much of our time in the Park and enjoying Estes. It was lovely to come back to the house and nice deck each day, and we especially enjoyed the proximity to downtown. We grilled one night - we were so thrilled to have a working grill! The hot tub was very clean and fun - although as spelled out in the details - there were no stripped towels or special cups that were specifically for the hot tub, so hopefully we used the correct ones as this seemed of importance. Also, all but one bathroom was shared (not private with each bedroom), which was not clear in the description. Neither of these things were problems for us, but overview could be clearer. That said, we would not hesitate to return. We had a fantastic time.
Great house! We were there for 5 nights for our daughter’s wedding Jan 2025. We lost a set of keys so we had to look in couches and chairs. They were in need of vacuuming from previous renters. All else was super clean. The downstairs shower didn’t work. It wouldn’t keep us from renting again .
The location of this property was wonderful. We were able to walk easily to so many places. The house was great for a bigger group, with many rooms and many bathrooms. The one downside is that there were many things called out in the listing and/or welcome binder that weren't actually there (e.g. drink tokens, blow up mattress, cups for hot tub). We also had to buy toilet paper as there was no extra supply. These things didn't impact how much we enjoyed the location and Estes Park overall!
We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location was perfect—quiet, yet close enough to all the main attractions. We enjoyed easy access to restaurants, shops, and parks, and the area felt very safe and welcoming.
Inside, the home was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, linens, and kitchen supplies, which made it feel just like home.
Communication with the host was excellent. They were responsive and provided clear instructions on everything from check-in to local recommendations. We had no issues during our stay, but it was comforting to know they were just a message away if we needed anything.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. This property exceeded our expectations, and we would love to return next time we're in the area. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and well-located home for their trip!
My wife, family and I enjoyed our four night stay at this property. However, a big complaint for us was the sleeping arrangements. The beds could use some updating, especially for the cost of the rental. I stand 6’8 along with my two brothers and we were not comfortable with the beds. My wife and sister in law who are both shorter also were not comfortable in the beds. The kitchen was very beautiful and nice to use. However, the cupboards/doors are very sticky/dirty. The pictures on the listing are very outdated, could use some updating there as well. Overall, we loved the home and what it had to offer. The fireplace and nice dining room table were a big use in our family. Thanks Todd Family
