"Our shower did not work properly, tv never worked, for us old folks music too loud, Brian was great tried hard to correct issues. Liked the location on the Stand. Loved the patio on the second floor with comfy couches. The Restaurant at the hotel was awesome, we ate there twice. The best steak I’ve had in years."

"Charles (Pojo) was such an amazing host. His tiny home has everything in it. Full sized gas range, fridge, BBQ all the plates and cutlery you could want. The TV is even set up with Prime and Netflix for a guest. The bed is super comfortable. You are a 10 min walk to an excellent beach and no more than a 20 min walk into town. The keyless entry was very nice as you did not have to worry about losing your key. Easy parking, not that I drove. I would stay here again in a second."

"I stayed in Casa de Minin for an extended period in May, 2026. Being able to walk to the beach, dive shops, the pier, and restaurants was great! The host was gracious, generous, informative and helpful. I had friends in and out and everyone raved about the place- roomy, quiet, secure, and had everything we needed. The locals were friendly, and the area is vibrant and authentic. We all enjoyed it! LIH"

"Very nice and modern apartment. The owner was friendly and very nice. I mainly spent time in the apartment to wind down and sleep as I am from the island. Very central to my family and friends in the surrounding area. I would recommend this lovely apartment to anyone without hesitation. If you are not local to STX, Ms. Carmen will not hesitate to provide recommendations on places to see and experience. PS: The kitchen is fully stocked and Ms. Carmen has the best avocados on the property. YUMMY! "
