"We had a wonderful stay in Espinha in the apartment of Ricardo. He has accompagned us very friendly and gave us information, when we asked. We can recommand very much the apartment, the town and the region. Supermarket and a very nice bakers' shop very close, every week an impressive market and the way to the beach is nice and not at all too far. By train we visited other lovely places and one day we hired bicycles to travel to Porto, which was an exciting experience."

"Such a great hotel! Tucked away in a quiet side street but still close to the beach and town. I was lucky enough to have a balcony overlooking the pool which means a great sea view too. The rooms are huge, spotless and beautifully furnished. Bed is big and comfy and bathrooms are really nice. Good breakfast, with fresh juice, was a real bonus. And to top it off the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Oh and it’s got a great pool with tons of loungers. "

"Great host. Very helpful. Right next to the beach and train station. Very secure. Plenty of free parking if the beach is not busy. Beautiful sandy beaches. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby 2 min walk into the main town area. Pizza Hut nearby as well. "

"You simply cannot beat Green Coast Surfhouse for the price. The Hotel staff were delightful, it was inviting and friendly. The beach and surf was so close. I stayed 10 days. "

"It's much better than it's 2 stars suggests but you can't expect perfection for the price. It's cheap, great value but it is cheap. The breakfast is limited but there's enough, the staff were lovely, it's clean and close to everything. Ignore the moaners, if you travel frequently abroad, you'll find it absolutely fine."

"The whole experience at the hotel was absolutely splendid and the highlight of the whole experience was his nice and curious the staff was, there was this French concierge that was an absolute godsend and helped us at every moment that we needed it. She was so nice and considerate when it came to the sleeping arrangements between my family and she even added an extra bed just so we could be more comfortable during our stay, overall the entire experience was a 100/10 time and we would absolutely...
