"The room was OK, not great. Carpet needed vacuuming badly. Non-smoking room, but the bedspread had cigarette burns on it."

"The staff were lovely - each person I interacted with - two different people at the front desk (Liz and, unfortunately I didn't get the other person's name) and one person at breakfast buffet - were helpful, professional and kind. The gentleman working at the breakfast buffet on March 18 was attentive, polite and helpful - he checked in with me to ensure I was having a good experience, and checked back in a few minutes before the breakfast area closed to make sure I had what I needed and that I knew that breakfast was ending soon in case I wanted to get anything more before they closed. My room was well equiped, clean and quiet. Overall a very nice experience."

"Amsterdam Castle was a fantastic stay; while the architecture, decor, and interior design kept its historic charm, the rooms had fully modern amenities. The rooms were cozy, yet spacious and comfortable. As a family business, the staff were all very friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The parking area was easy to use. Although we visited in the winter, we can imagine this area will blossom in the summer months. Be sure to visit Exit Coffee and Crepes nearby for amazing crepes!! We will definitely love to come back!! "

"Yes by the way take off the restaurant The nest from your menu absolutely horrible rip off and they treated as horribly the food was horrible $55 for lobster mac and cheese that was edible at best I took it because I didn't realize it was $55 I would have never ordered it $2 for bread which was one piece cut in half $4 for a deviled egg which was absolutely nasty the food was gross that's the only complaint I have the staff was awesome the maintenance guy kept that place so clean beautiful I've never stayed in such a clean nice place. The maintenance man there should get a raise he dealt with so much disgusting stuff from people and kept it clean and was such a sweetheart don't remember his name but maybe if you value her employees you should give him a shout out I'm sure he doesn't make much and takes pride in that as well as the gentleman that ran the breakfast so very nice"
