"I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. "We had a nice overnight stay. The room was clean with plenty of room. The bathroom was big with a good shower. We both enjoyed the evening meal in the bar area, nice food good portions and nice staff. There were two weddings being held so the restaurant was closed, which was fine for us but other guests might have enjoyed a meal in the restaurant. The only thing we felt that could be improved was the breakfast. It would have been nice to have some pastries, some fruit and fibre as another cereal choice and also muesli. I also feel that the quality of the bread could be improved. Overall, the stay was good."
