Feels like Italy! Come to VILLA ESCONDIDO and get away from it all at this one of a kind gated hilltop estate. Secluded -- yet minutes from downtown Escondido and major highways. The 750 sq ft spacious apartment is attached to the owner’s home-a Mediterranean Architecture Villa. The suite is completely private, free WiFi and cable. Private entrance, parking. Outdoor grill. One BR 1 BA with queen bed and fold out ottoman sleeper. Walk in closet. Huge bathroom and entertainment area with spacious couch, 2 recliners and large flat screen TV. Google Home mini, computer and printer. Fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee and drip coffee makers. Beautiful custom cabinets and slate floor.
If you don't feel like cooking, Escondido is home to many fine restaurants, outstanding breweries, and wineries within a few miles.
Step through the French doors of your suite and relax by the pool, taking in the beautiful views of the native vegetation and the Escondido hills. Listen to the birds or, if you prefer, the outdoor speaker system. Enjoy the serenity of this hide-away estate while knowing that you have easy access to all the major Southern California destinations!
If you’d rather stay home, you have access to your own outdoor grill.

A beautiful and relaxing stay

The villa is so comfortable and sitting poolside can't be beat. You are not far away from many things to see and do. And there's great food in the area too!

We always love staying here. The owners are really wonderful and always help if we need anything.Do you know that itself is so comfortable and just laid out perfect and plenty spacious with all you would need for staying there.The outside by the pool on the ground is just spectacular and so peaceful and restful you couldn’t find a nicer place to stay

Excellent all around

The location is beautiful. The facility is beautiful. It was a perfect weekend getaway., and it is a great place to use as a home base when exploring Southern California. If we didn't have 1000 things planned to do in S Cal, I'd be just as content to sit poolside all weekend and enjoy the peace this place has to offer.

Beautiful Hideaway

This is a beautiful, relaxing hideaway place to stay. The property is immaculate and the hosts are very friendly. Lots to do in and around the are to keep you from having to go to the larger centers like San Diego or Los Angeles. Lots of amazing food options for all types of foods and preferences.

Stayed here with my best friend who came in from out of town for my daughter’s wedding. It was a nice clear spot to get away from the madness of the wedding prep at my house. Didn’t have much time to enjoy the property and pool but it was a nice little spot and very stress free.

Our stay was wonderful Host was very responsive and attentive Location was great, pool and jacuzzi were wonderful Sprinklers on property do turn on at 630am (which woke us up a couple times after a later night out), so if you’re a light sleeper plan accordingly!

Escondido adventure

Julia and Robert are excellent and gracious hosts. The Villa Escondido is charming, very comfortable and interesting. The Villa is an excellent location for visiting northern San Diego County. We visited the Safari Park, the San Diego Botanical Gardens, hiked around Lake Hodges and San Elijo Ecological Reserve, plus a Giants Padres game.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I stay at this quaint property for our anniversary. We had a great time checking out local wineries and the San Diego Safari Park which were very close to the property. Great place to stay!!

The property was beautiful and well located in the city of Escondido. We did many activities and almost all of them were within a 10 to 15 minute drive. The property itself has gorgeous plants and succulents and trees all around. The hosts were extremely accommodating and very gracious. It was a great experience for us!

Beautiful, quiet, convenient!

Perfect location and accommodations! Clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Julia was generous and attentive. Clear instructions and helpful information for our stay. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed sitting by the pool watching the birds over morning coffee. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Villa Escondido

We had a wonderful time in Escondido. The little villa was the perfect relaxing place after our busy week. We recommend Swami’s for breakfast and check out Stone Brewery for dinner. The animal safari park was a nice place to visit. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!
