Great place with convenient location

Beautiful Place in the U.P.

Beautiful home near the lake/park, restaurants, and downtown. Was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Escanaba. We will add to our list of places to stay when in the area.

Perfect Place to Stay in the U.P.

This property worked out perfect for my friends and I. Such a great location to downtown Escanaba and other areas of the U.P. for hiking and biking. Great place to come back to after busy days of physical activities. We plan on staying again.

Great location and awesome view.

Things to do no matter which way t you turn when exploring location. The house had comfortable king beds and appreciated having a washer and dryer to use. The living area was comfortable and functional.

A Northern Getaway

Beautiful home tucked in quietly on Escanaba's waterfront. The house had everything we needed for our stay and located perfectly too! Not only be close to anything going on, but to also be quiet and relax on one of the amazing porches that face the water. The Host was amazing and was quick to answer any and all questions. Would recommend anyone I know to stay here or if we are ever in the area we will try our hardest to.stay here again

Comfy and convenient!

Such a great space. Close enough to anything you’d like to do in Escanaba and just steps from the beautiful lake. Always something happening in the park in the summer. The bedrooms and living area are spacious and comfortable and the porch and yard that butt up to the park give you so many options for outdoor activities.

LOCATION…LOCATION…LOCATION

This beautiful historical home is in the heart of everything. We sat outside sipping coffee amid the beautiful sight of the bay and park. A walk around the adjoining park, lighthouse, and restaurants was a daily venture. If you want solitude with all the amenities of the area, stay here. The owner is personable, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Great place in Escanaba MI

This home in Escanaba, MI is a great place to stay. The home is a nice size, there are plenty of spaces to sit/walk (indoors & outdoors), furniture & beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped, showers can accommodate taller persons (hubby is 6’3”), and a nice concrete slab for parking a couple of vehicles. The host graciously & quickly answered questions about the property prior to scheduling the rental. The area in which the home is located appears to be undergoing a revitalization - plenty of small businesses as well as plans to build new condos. Would definitely stay here again.

Girls getaway

We had an amazing time staying at your property. The veiws are spectacular. Yes, the house has everything you need and spacious. The floors and stairs are a little creeky but gives it character. Centrally located for everything we wanted to do. We asked Craig the host for some recommendations for restaurants in the area and they did not disappoint. Thanks ! Would stay again if in the area.

UP GETAWAY

We had a great stay at the house, it was clean and very well maintained, the views from the property were amazing, and close by to restaurants and shops. The host (Craig) was available to answer any questions or concerns we had. We were there during early spring so it was a little chilly and we were not able to enjoy swimming or boating on Little Bay De Noc across the street, but we will be looking to return to the property during the summer months when it is warmer to do some boating. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the UP and want to enjoy a quite little getaway.

Comfortable house

We stayed four nights. We didn't cook, although we used the coffee maker, and dishes and glasses. Some leftover vegetables were in the refrigerator when we arrived; I guess I should have thrown them out, but I didn't.I might suggest adding a nightlight to the upstairs bathroom, which might help people not have to turn on the light (and thus the fan) when someone needs to use the bathroom at night. We saw a nightlight in the living room and moved it to the bathroom (sorry, we forgot to put it back).Very comfortable house in a great location.

Quaint and Clean!

Communication with the host was excellent. House was very clean and well stocked. The only glitch was finding the house. We arrived after dark, which didn’t help. The house is set behind another house on the street. We finally figured out to go down the paved driveway runs alongside the side. Plenty of space for parking, too. We enjoyed our stay.

Very Cozy

Perfect location. Only wish it would have been warmer to sit outside on the nice decks(upper/lower) and have morning coffee or evening wine. Walked out our door and directly to the park for a morning walk and around the lake. Shopping/Restaurants close. Communication with Craig was very good. Looking forward to staying again but when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the patio furniture and gas grill. Thank you again Cindy from Elk Grove Village, IL

Wonderful place for a family stay

We felt very much at home here. My husband and I stayed at the residence along with our adult children for a family event. The views of the lake were stunning (especially at sunrise); the kitchen had everything we needed; the bed was so comfortable; bath soap, shampoo, and towels were available; the washer and dryer (complete with laundry detergent) downstairs was great. Craig was wonderfully responsive which we really appreciated. We even had other family members over for a fun game of "gin rummy" along with enjoying Escanaba's famous pasties (pronounced "pass-tees"). The next time we need to go to Escanaba, this will be our "go to" place for sure!! -Ann

Christmas 2023

We were very pleased with the house and the property owner. Due to a family situation we had to request multiple changes to our dates at the last minute and the property owners were flexible and very responsive allowing us to add days on the front and back ends of our stay. The property has plenty of parking as we had three vehicles Some things that would improve the experience: -Create a book with checkout instructions/expectations & Wi-Fi information -More amenities in the kitchen like extra pots/pans, storage containers, and silverware. House had all of these items but with 6 adults over an extended stay more would have been better Would definitely recommend the house and the owners! Thanks
