We had a wonderful stay at Paula’s cozy cottage! The location was perfect- charming spot with a friendly horse and chickens on the property. The house was very comfortable, we had everything we needed- loved the decor! Our 3 kids (5, 3 and 1) enjoyed the bunk beds and spacious living room for dance parties. The yard was fenced so our Bernese mountain dog could roam freely without being in anyone’s way. We can’t wait to come back and perhaps next time in the summer so we can enjoy a BBQ in the backyard!

Beware this is a dog boarding facility, dogs bark and howl all night, and kept our dog up barking back. No window coverings on the ground floor making you feel like you're in a fish bowl. Top floor toilet doesn't fill back up with water after flushing so it was out of commission, host left wet towels in the dryer so we had to finish the laundry, and the dryer takes 3 rounds of drying to get clothes dry. Master bedroom mattress was all springs and sank a foot when you got in reeking havick on our backs. Heaters barely kept the cabin warm and kept turning off and the rooms were freezing. I wasn't going to write a review seeing as she told us she was new and we were her second guests.... But, I found her listing on another popular vacation rental site because I was looking for another place to go last minute cause we couldn't sleep with all the barking and howling and the bad mattress... She's been doing this for 9 years! So in that case a review was necessary as I have never had this much of an unpleasant stay.
