Naja

Wir wollten ja in den Sonnwendhof, wurden aber in das 4* H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg umgebucht. Da durften wir schon etwas erwarten. Der Empfang war auch spitzenklasse. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war voll oK. Das Nachtessen war gut, hat für ein 4* Hotel noch Luft nach oben. Die Ambiance im rustikalen Raum angenehm und gemütlich. Im urchigen Raum fragte ich mich warum das Cheminee künstlich beleuchtet wird, wenn die ehemaligen Telefonkabienen voller Holz sind und warum keine der schön grossen Laternen auf dem Fenstersim einfach so leer dort stehen. Hunde im Essbereich eines 4* Hotels sind für mich grenzwertig. Der Service war gut bis sehr gut. Bis auf den Chef de Service. Der Spabereich war super. Während dem viertägigen Aufenthalt fragten wir uns, wo der vierte Stern wohl verborgen sein könnte. Ich würde dieses Haus nicht weiter empfehlen.

Sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, super Lage (2-3 Minuten vom Bahnhof), grosses, gepflegtes und feines Frühstücksbuffet. Das Haus bzw. die Zimmer sind etwas älter, aber alles ist mit Liebe und Sorgfalt gepflegt und vor allem sauber. Wir kommen auf jedem Fall wieder.
