"Butterflies, hummingbirds, and deer! OH MY!!This charming cottage was a great getaway destination for us (2 people & 1 dog). The owners clearly take pride in being good hosts not just by providing a clean and comfortable property to stay in, but also through the thoughtfulness in so many small details. The hosts were communicative before the stay (but not in a pushy or overbearing way) by providing recommendations on things to do/places to eat in the local area along with providing news about events happening around the area the specific dates we were there. Additionally, while the cottage is located near the hosts' house, they gave us our space during our stay. We did seem them and they offered a friendly wave, but there was no pressure or unannounced visits.The cottage itself was cozy. One bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room with all of your normal house amenities, but the space felt large, open and peaceful.All of the small things were there to enhance your stay; fireplace ready to be lit, snacks for us and for our dog, grill and citronella candles outside to enjoy the porch. Specifically, sitting outside in the morning and evenings was such a blessing since the property backs up to a ranch. The hosts setup a birdseed feeder, hummingbird nectar, and leave a bucket of corn to feed the neighboring deer. Throw a scoop out and you will quickly have numerous deer stop by for a meal (we saw 8 at one time). This is a quiet home ready to help you recharge."
