Emporia Trip to see new granddaughter
Great place to spend a week with our grand kids! Park across the street with playground and splash pad is a big bonus for place to take grandkids!

Great duplex
We were in town for a state golf tournament and this duplex was in a great location for the course and to get about anywhere in town. We really enjoyed being within walking distance to Peter Pan Park to fill our down time in the evening. The duplex is just as listed and is perfect for 2 couples. Host’s communication was superb!

Peaceful, Practical, PERFECT!
Felt like going home each time I entered the door with its full-use kitchen, bedrooms and baths. Having the W/D was also a plus, as was the use of the garage in KS weather. Couldn't be happier and will hope this unit is always available when I visit my daughter and son-in-law in Emporia. Wait--the only thing I might suggest would be scent-free trash bags for those of us with sensitive allergies to strong aromas. Thank you for a great place!

Great Stay in Emporia
My sister and I traveled to visit family in Emporia. One reason we chose this house was due to the quick replies from Marisleysis (the owner) to our questions. Truly a delight to deal with her. Upon arrival were were impressed how clean and light/airy the house is. The kitchen is fully stocked so we were able to cook great meals for the family. The beds are very comfy. We hope to come back soon and will definitely stay here again. We highly highly recommend staying here.

Highly Recommend
We planned on staying in a hotel but the Humble Abode was a much better choice for our stay. Spotlessly clean, plenty of room to relax, quiet neighborhood and we loved having a garage. It was wonderful not having to unload the car every day after touring the Flint Hills and nearby towns. Last but not least, Marisleysis is a natural at hospitality! Kind, helpful, and great communication.
