"Room was clean and it looked like it had been updated. No hair dryer or iron which I thought was the norm for almost every other hotel I’ve stayed at. Air conditioner had a hard time keeping up. Main thing we noticed and others that joined us was that the elevator always smelled awful! The room however, smelled great! The employee the first night was awesome! The employee the second night was like a sloth! So slow to get anything! Our room was not cleaned the second day so we had to go down and ask for more towels. He took forever and brought me two! Explaining that we needed more towels because no one had cleaned our room that day took forever for him to process and then go get the towels. Overall it was a nice place to stay."

"The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was great, with lots of options, and the coffee was top-notch. We did not partake of the happy hour, but they had a nice selection of foods and could easily have made a meal of it. We had a suite with two queen beds. The suite was very clean and spacious, overall. However, it is a tight fit with two queen beds, and the A/C unit is literally inches from the bed. This made for a very noisy and very cold night on that side of the room. We had to turn off the A/C in that room to get any sleep. I think it would be better with just a king bed. The worst issue was a very musty smell, which compounded the discomfort. We reported this at the front desk when checking out. Kudos to the management team! They actually followed up with a phone call, and sent a gift certificate as compensation for our difficult night. We were extremely impressed at that level of response, as we had not asked for compensation; we were advising that the A/C needed attention. It is rare these days to get the customer service that was provided at every interaction. We will definitely be back for a stay with Drury!"

"Tiffany, the front desk clerk, deserves special mention in this review. There was a disconnect between the room that I requested (not all rooms at this location are suites, and I specifically requested one) and the room that I received. Tiffany went to great lengths to honor my request. She arranged for us to have a different room and allowed us to keep our stuff in our initial room while our new room was being prepared. I appreciated the fact that she was willing to help us out when others were of no assistance whatsoever."

"BEWARE: this location does NOT offer a free continental breakfast. They charge $12/per person. I am highly disappointed my CHILDREN were charged this rate to eat a breakfast that is served at any other hotel as a continental. No way are eggs worth this much. Crazy. When I inquired about it stating free continental breakfast was offered on the Sonesta website, the lady waived her hand and said "Well" and shrugged her shoulders. You have to request your room be cleaned. This doesn't automatically happen. And on the grounds people don't pick up their dog poop. So watch where you step. We will not be staying at another Sonesta. The $12 generic breakfast charges were enough to make me not come back. Ridiculous."

"The breakfast was decent, friendly breakfast attendant. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was clean, the beds were not comfy and the mattress under the sheets was extremely dirty. Pool area was okay, water was cold and there were no towels. Overall decent stay for the price. Probably wouldn’t stay again just because of how uncomfortable the beds were."
