"Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable."

"Everythinh is fine. Good location. The only downside is the hotel has no air con. So it does get stuffy during the day. Fortunately, at night it is cooling. But we had to open the windows."

The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy outside being in the city centre; late at night and early morning. No A/C meant having the window open which allowed for all the street noise. But would still recommend. Short walk from train station helped too. "
