Housekeeping is extremely poor, no dental kits, an almost finished toilet roll , toilet was not working properly on the flush, safe was locked when I reached room, lights were not working even with card inserted. Only positive is the hospitality of Thandi at the front desk "

Unlike the neighboring City Lodge, the Protea Hotel in Hatfield offers you free access to Zone Fitness located in the mall across the street -- for a gym-goer this is an amazing bonus. "We were welcomed at the gate and taken to the reception desk by one of their very helpful & friendly employees. We had to sign a sort of indemnity document so whilst we did that he went into the room and put the Champagne I had requested (A great choice within the bounds of the budget I had set) into a big bucket of ice for us. We were escorted to our room shortly after and given a brief walkthrough to show us how everything worked, which keys are for which door, etc. There is a booklet...
