A once distinctive property with many lovely traditional Portuguese features Rooms were large and clean However the building and grounds require maintenance and upgrading and basic TLC This could be a stunning hotel It probably once was but is stuck in a time warp Staff we’re polite and helpful Breakfast was bad

Still retains the charm of a Pousada
This was our second stay at this Hotel, our previous being some years ago when it was a Pousada. Thankfully it has still retained its charm and we were not disappointed. Perfectly placed for a walk into the town, and an added bonus to have a small balcony we could sit on in the evening....... definitely recommend it!

Great service - we eat and stayed at hotel in the evening after a very long motorbike rifde - freat service. Would stay here again.

Good location
The air-conditioning was not efficient and noisy, small tv , kids bed not comfortable. Cleaned faculties nice employees, good location. Expensive for the service provided.

Enjoyable stay at Santa Luzia Hotel, Elvas
Hotel was easy to find. Good location, just outside City walls. Easy parking. Bedrooms spacious , clean and comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful.

A nice stay
Overall very nice. Some of the furniture in room should be updated. No heater in bathroom, but bearable. Food in restaurant good but too expensive.

Classic beautiful hotel
Old world charm and grace greet you at this wonderful hotel. Great food and wine at the restaurant. Rita and Andre were exceptionally pleasant hosts. The hotel sits at the base of a historic walled city with many significant sites to visit in the immediate area. Don't miss a chance to step back in time and enjoy the experience of this property and its surroundings.

Unexpected gem
Most surprised at what a charming hotel this was, especially because of its proximity to the highway. We were warmly greeted at reception and, since there is not elevator and all rooms are up one floor, helped with our luggage. Pristine room and linens. Lovely room for breakfast, with good choice. We had dinner the night before in their restaurant, for convenience and found the food to be good and plentiful.

Good hotel within walking distance of Elvas
Front of house staff (Sarah ?) was exceptional at check in and throughout our stay. Room was good, balcony which was a treat, breakfast was good with background music playing. Easy walk into town. Would stay here again.

Great Spot in Elvas
The hotel was a former Pousada, and it has a very art deco feel to it. The staff are amazing and the common areas are large and numerous for gathering outside of you rooms. The rooms were nice and clean, and about what you would expect for a 3* property. I would stay there again if in Elvas.

Hemos estado MUY AGUSTO. El trato, la limpieza y la ubicación perfectos. Es coqueto, familiar y muy agradable. Han trabajado mucho el tema Covid. En España sería un 3*. El trato y el esfuerzo les dan otra estrella. It is a very nice hotel to stay, small and familiar. Fantastic. On the other hand, they have worked hard on covid issues, everthing is super-clean, food is perfectly isolated. We usually stop in Elvas or Badajoz when we go on holiday to the south of Spain or Portugal. I guess it will be our stop in next journeys.

Parada en Santa Luzia de camino hacia Insua.
Bien. Fue pousada, pero se nota q ya no lo es, está un poco abandonado, sobre todo la piscina y su zona. La cama supletoria no te s la al, la s un mal catre. Lo mejor el desayuno.
