Snowmobile from your door just off the main trail, Fully equipped vacation cabin has 1 newly added KING bed and full bathroom on main level and two queen beds and full bathroom in loft. Radiant heat in the entire main level of slate tile flooring. Looking for ambiance, enjoy the wood burning stove with glass door. A wall furnace to take the chill out of the air when you first arrive is there for your comfort.
Kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and toaster oven, crock pot, dishes, pots and pans. Washer and dryer, 55" flat screen smart TV, NO LOCAL TV RECEPTION, blue ray player. Wireless WIFI recently added, A front covered porch, rear covered deck and fire pit. Linens and towels are provided. Cell phone reception is spotty with metal roof.

Some More Winter Weather!

Visited Boyne Mountain & Sleeping Bear from this location. It was a cozy and secluded place to stay with a working wood stove. We really enjoyed the stay!

Great spot to relax and unwind

Clean, cozy and comfortable. The setting was private and natural, yet close to everything. We went to the Speedway on Saturday and relaxed on the property on Sunday. Wonderful mini vacation.

Great location for snow activities at Boyne Mountain

This was a great cabin for 7 adults. We loved having two full bathrooms and a large kitchen, dining, living area to gather and be together without being cramped. Our dog loved exploring the scents around the yard and the opportunity to be with us for the weekend instead of at the puppy motel.

Holiday Week

We enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing week along with plenty of snow! We especially like the central location. We visited numerous areas north, west, east, and south. There are numerous options for dining and recreating within a 15-45 mile radius in winter, and likely more options in summer. We snowshoed, hunted grouse, and went tubing. The home is pet-friendly, as well, which is a necessity for our small family. This was our second time renting, and we'll rent again.

Very quiet and peaceful wooded property- just what we needed ! Only 10 miles from Gaylord and all the food places and stores you need . Property needs a little TLC but overall it was good . Nice to have washer and dryer too ! Also nice for a family with kids to have a 2nd bathroom .

Cozy Cabin

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cozy cabin in the woods! It was very clean and comfortable! We had 4 of our boys with us, and not one complaint! Annette is a GREAT hostess-she was spot on with communication. Cabin is conveniently located to many attractions, and very easy to get to. We will definitely stay again! Thanks for having us Annette! Great Michigan Getaway!

Lovely cabin in densely wooded area with plenty of privacy. Comfortably sized for a family, wood burning stove, radiant heat flooring, 2 porches, abundant wildlife. Washer/dryer and kitchen topped off the experience. We actually added a second week to our stay while we close on a new home. Relaxing and a great intro to the Up North experience. The host was extremely responsive and nice to work with.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin in the Woods is a charming retreat with plenty of privacy, two spacious porches, and all you need for comfortable and enjoyable stay. The cabin’s design is open and includes abundant seating options, a wood burning stove, two full baths, laundry facilities and a lovely kitchen. The host, Annette, is very responsive and helpful. We booked this cabin three times during our relocation to Michigan and it proved to be a restful haven for us during a chaotic time. The fact that the cabin is secluded, peaceful and dog-friendly while still close to Gaylord was the best part for us.

Cozy and Peaceful

Surrounded by trees, quiet and restorative, this property would be great for a couple of a family. We were able to cook nearly every day, run a few loads of laundry and play games or just relax next to the wood stove or on the porch. Love all the cabin’s decorative touches! Best part is the host, who is extremely helpful and friendly. Would love to stay here again, but we bought a house a few miles away! Will definitely be recommending to friends and relatives though. Charming setting.

Lovely stay

We stayed here for a month. The setting is very private and felt completely left to ourselves aside from some helpful messages from the owner. The internet was vey sufficient, we were able to work from home with no issues. It is on a dirt road so expect most things to get a bit dirty. The water was very hard which was noticeable on our skin and clothes by the end of it. Also had to buy water to drink. Would stay again.
