Adventure Sport Hotels & Resorts in Ellmau from NZ$193

We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. The lounge/restaurant area was a lovely space to relax by the fire and have something to eat and drink. The rooms were nice but could do with some extra features like somewhere to put the suitcase and some better lighting (it was too dark). We also found very limited bathroom amenities for a hotel of this standard. For example a one product "does everything" which I find is more of a 3 star hotel feature.

Staff super friendly, multi-lingual and doing the extra mile every time. The hotel is clean, bright, well maintained, breakfast and dinner extremely delicious and lots of choice. Wellness area quiet and clean, sauna fantastic. Kids play area. Best value for money. Oh, and ski lift just outside the door. Highly recommended!

Reasonably priced excellent restaurant on site. Fabulous breakfast although I wish it started earlier than 7:30 as we were keen to get on the slopes in the morning. Great friendly staff. Great ski hire on site.

We were driving the Alpenstrasse scenic road through Upper Bavaria and booked one night at the Rilano Resort as an enroute stopover. It was worth the detour from our route as our stay was a very pleasant experience. Very friendly and efficient service all round and an excellent breakfast was provided with a wide range of high quality items. Possibly one of the best hotel breakfasts enjoyed anywhere and far superior to the usual fare dished up in hotels in the US, Australia and the UK.
