"I took my mother to the retreat on Governor's Island for her 80th birthday and it was fabulous. The unique setting, views, staff and service was amazing. I will definitely be back!"

"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding weekend. We chose it because of the close proximity where our venue was, it was shortly out of the Holland tunnel AND had valet parking. Right off the bat when we pulled in, a bellhop came to the curb and helped unload the car with my wedding dress, my husbands suit and our various luggage. Checking in was a breeze and our suite was beautiful and very roomy. Everything was clean and the shower was VERY roomy and loved the waterfall rain shower. Only slight con was I wish the bathroom had extra toilet paper stocked. Checking out of the room was also easy. I forgot my bouquet in the room after checkout and security was able to go back to the room and recover it for me! If you don’t like the breakfast options there are plenty of other options nearby to the hotel. "
"Very friendly staff, small room but very clean and nice, breakfast wasn't that great but it's okay because there are other places nearby which are good."
"Other than house keeping barging in after one knock, everything was absolutely perfect! Super quiet location with multiple entrances to the subways near by to get more into the city. 10/10 stay! "
"People at the reception area, wonderful efficient and very helpful. It is my first time to go around New York and I thought I got the best choice comes to the place. I decided to stay with my friend."
