Village charmer, walk to town with hot tub!

Welcome to your retreat in the heart of Ellicottville. We invite you to enjoy this magical ski town where music, bars, and restaurants are woven into the fabric of the street scenes within walking distance of our house. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house has a back deck with a hot tub and gas BBQ. A fully stocked kitchen includes a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven. A flat-screen TV with ROKU gives you access to our Netflix & Amazon accounts. This is a legal, licensed rental RENTAL2020-00002

The house was built in the 1890s and we’ve lovingly updated it over the last 15 years. Adding the deck with a hot tub is one of our favorite upgrades. Everyone who stays here loves that you are so close to town you can walk.

Make sure to pick up a local paper because there is something happening nearly every weekend. Biking and hiking are right out the front door. If You love skiing it’s only a 5-minute drive to Holiday Valley and Holimont.

The kitchen is fully stocked and also has a coffeemaker, toaster oven, and microwave. We provide coffee and tea. There is a washer and dryer.

We have Roku and you can access our Netflix and Amazon accounts. We have high-speed internet wifi.

Please note the bed configuration. There are three bedrooms. One bedroom is located on the ground floor with a queen bed The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, and the third bedroom is a queen bed. Lastly, there is a fold-out couch in the living room and a single bed on the sleeping porch. The sleeping porch has a portable heater which keeps it toasty. Fresh sheets and towels are provided. The driveway has ample room to park 3-4 cars.

Our backyard has an outdoor lounging area with a fire pit. the deck has a gas grill adjoining the hot tub. (We put the deck furniture away in the winter).

We provide fresh towels and sheets. Also, the bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, body wash, and shampoo.

This house has everything you need for a wonderful time away and we look forward to welcoming you.

Great location!!
Loved our stay. Hot tub wasnt heating but we’re told by the owner before our stay. She did compensate us. The location was great , walking distance to the main drag where there’s shopping and restaurants.:)

Terrible smell
House remodeling was lovely and nicely decorated. Location was very convenient to town but there was ALOT of very noisey traffic, including large semi trucks and a train in the middle of the night that shook us awake. The worse part was the smell! I can't tell you exactly what was causing the smell but it was very strong and permeated our clothes. Very noticeable when you came in from the outside. The back sleeping porch was unusable due to the very strong smell in that small room. We used air freshners and bought 2 scented candles but it didn’t help. When we got home and opened our suitcases, the smell from our clothes hit us in the face. Everything had to be hung outside to air out for a day. My husband's suit had to go to the cleaners as the smell wouldn't go away. We recommend the owner look into having the house professionally cleaned and sanitized or have a pest control professional investigate the smell in case its from a dead animal under the house or in the basement. We wouldn't stay there again.

2023 Ski Trip
Overall, the house was great. It was clean, but I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a horrible skunk smell that lasted our entire visit. It was the worst in the living room where we all hung out in the evening. The street where the house sits is very noisy in the evening. There is a mill just around the corner that functions in the middle of the night, so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or a sound machine. The bedroom with the queen bed upstairs is tiny and you can't walk around the bed. It was fine for us, but if you want space, you won't like it. The kitchen was nice, although the sponge for washing dishes was used and the hand towels looked old and had holes in them. We also had to buy hand soap. These are simple fixes. The hot tub was our favorite part! It was clean and heated up quickly and the jets worked great. The couch in the living room was wonderful. It fit 6 of us comfortably when we lounged to watch TV. The TV was great and had all the channels we liked. I would stay here again as long as the skunk smell is gone.

We enjoyed our stay for a long ski weekend! The location is perfect for walking to town and only a quick drive over to Holiday Valley. The hot tub was perfect to soak in after a long day of skiing! Plenty of parking and easy check in and check out process! Communication with owner was almost immediate!

Great ski weekend!
Every year I take my daughters for a ski/snowboard weekend to HolidayValley. We’ve rented many places in the area and this rental met all of our expectations. Great place for a family and within walking distance of downtown! We took advantage of the Ellicotville nightlife, and did it Safely by walking. Thank you, Patricia.

Quaint and relaxing home
Superb customer service. The owner offered to extend our stay due to adverse weather conditions. Home was clean with plenty of towels. So nice to come back to the warm and cozy home after a long day of skiing and soak in the 104-degree hot tub.
