The Hikers Roost

Newly renovated apartment above the hottest fashion shop in elkton.
Two minute walk to restaurants, brewery, coffee shop and parks. 15 minutes to World famous Skyline Drive, and Massanutten 4 season resort. Beautiful, luxurious soaking tub with hand held shower wand. Apartment has a quirky layout due to being a former law office and dentist office that makes it a unique stay. Has super nintendo game console for 2 and two adult beanbag chairs. Smart tv so you can veg our when you're done hiking. Railroad noise occurs sometimes and i have included ear plugs for sensitive sleepers. Property has basic kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine.

A perfect stay for JMU family weekend.

This was a perfect place to stay for JMU family weekend. We didn't need a kitchen because there were several great places to eat. And we loved the wine bar below.

Perfect place for a hiking trip if you don’t want to stay in Shenandoah, lots of restaurants and a great brewery right nearby!

Right in the heart of downtown

I've never experienced an easier or more pleasant stay. We were right above the nicest wine bar we've been to on the East Coast, which also serves as a fun and friendly place to mingle with the locals, and less than a minutes walk from ice cream, coffee, and shopping. The place itself is quiet with plenty of space and is well suited for any length of stay. In short, we'll be staying here again whenever we come back to Elkton.

Horrible owner

First the owner said to cancel on my end so he didn’t get penalized- then told me he would get back to me if the home was available and then never responded. VRBO has been terrible to deal with and I’ve had to escalate to a manager at this point. I’ll Never book with VRBO again! This was awful

Great location for Shenandoah Trip!

Stayed here for a hiking trip with my friend in Shenandoah. Close proximity to everything and walkable to Elkton Brewing which was awesome. The place was clean and easy to access.
