The pool was down, night shift person to busy on phone to take a simple request, Dayshift person was welcoming and sweet. It was a half and half experience

Property is very dated and could be cleaner. Upon check in clerk had to get off her phone and barely said two words to us. Housekeeping did not come during our two night stay

The room was remodeled and clean. The room was comfortable. The outside area was cluttered. A vacuum was left outside our door. The pool had sand bags and a wind blown tarp. The complimentary breakfast was great. It was much better than your typical complimentary fare.

This hotel needs a serious renovation. Everything was old and smelled of smoke. The beds were so soft that they folded in as we sat in them. The staff was very friendly but everything else was just a poor experience. Air conditioning wasn’t working yet and the room was 82 degrees. Had to sleep with the windows open and didn’t feel very safe given the general crowd that was staying at the hotel.

Staff was great but trying to sleep is another story. You can hear absolutely everything. People talking, tv in next door room, maids came into room twice to see if we were still there before checkout time. No fans in bathroom.

After I checked in, I went to my room and found it the way the last person checked out. It had not been cleaned. I went back down to ask for another room. The Lady behind the counter at check in did not even apologize. She didn't say anything except give me a card for another room. Two words are all she said..."Room 120 "...just poor customer service. if she doesn't like her job she should probably quit ...maybe?

Last two stays were poor. Location is convenient but cleaning staff on first stay were in next room having a good time at 9 am with loud music. I had to beat on the wall. Second stay the hot tub room tv had no signal and the hot tub was in poor shape with no instructions. In hindsight I should have checked it out before dinner and cocktails. Cheap rooms and you get what you pay for.

This is an old building which the owners are upgrading. The rooms are lovely. The restaurant food was good and the service 'small town friendly'. They offer a REAL full breakfast for free (four option choices) and it was excellent. I stay in Elko overnight occasionally for work and usually just grab a room in one of the old 50s row motels. From now on, I will be staying here.

Good and adequate price
The hotel is outdated but decent: the staff is very friendly, the check in is easy, and the rooms are comfortable. The price is adequate. While the room and bathroom appeared clean, we were a little concerned with the standard of care when we discovered that the we ended up with 7 shampoos, most of them half-used, and no other toiletries. We've stayed there before and we will stay there again due to convenient location.

Overall, a great place!
Overall the stay was great! The shower head was broken but they replaced it immediately. And the refrigerator didn't work. I didn't have the time to report it.

lots of noise from the ventilation system outside the room, did not get to have a breakfast as they closed the kitchen for the day without notification or posting any-kind of info, locked out of the room as our cards were not keyed for the full stay, could not access room as cleaning came in.

The positives: the staff was nice, there is entertainment, locations near by and plenty of parking. The bad: there was facial clippings in the sink and on the counter from a prior customer, the bathtub/hot tub that we paid extra for did not work properly, the housekeeper knocked on our door and woke us at 8am both mornings!!, the curtains were broke and let lots of light in, the heater was messed up and our room was extremely hot. It was 17 degrees out and we were opening the door to cool the room, the microwave doesn’t work correctly. I don’t mean to sound ridiculous but we were there for a get away weekend and just disappointed in how it turned out. Especially being woken 4 hours prior to check out, the messed up heater and facial hair.
